Hidden in the corner of the Piazza Liberta is one of the best typical Piedmontese restaurants we have eaten at. Only five tables and a limited menu but----wow---what great cooking. We had the fettuccini with sausage and it was the best we have had in four years of trips to this area. It was followed by veal Milanese with fried cauliflower which was excellent. Unfortunately we were too full for dessert.
All this plus wine for 40 Euros make for a great price/value ratio. This is exactly what your local Osteria should be like and so seldom is. We will be back and probably more than just once!
