I am visiting India from the U.S., and the Devagiri retreat was highly recommended by friends. I stayed here for 2 nights and had a truly amazing experience. The hosts were truly hospitable and I was treated like family from the moment I arrived. The facilities were remarkably clean, and are up to the standard of any place in the U.S. The views of the coffee estate surrounding the home stay are unique and breath taking. The food was amazing! Some of the best and most authentic I have had. The non veg was like heaven on earth. To keep you occupied there is a volleyball net in the front for badminton or volley ball. Ask about the train trek experience as you will not be disappointed. There is also a firepit out front which you can relax around on cool nights as well.
Overall, this was a great place to escape from reality an unwind and relax. The hosts Lakshmi and Nagesh are wonderful and you can expect great food and great facilities. Very family friendly place as well. I highly recommend it.
