Manor Farm Holiday Cottages and B&B
Reviewed 5 July 2012

Myself and three friends stayed here while cycling in the Wolds. Secure storage is available for the cycles and the rooms are arranged around an enclosed courtyard with ample car parking. The accommodation is in a recent (2 yrs) barn conversion which has been done to a very high standard with luxury furniture and fittings. The rooms are ranged round a common living space and kitchen probably making it possible for the whole unit to be hired by a large family/party. Roger the host was really friendly and helpful, memorising our names quickly and giving good advice on local facilities, even ordering a taxi to take us into Bridlington. He cooked a delicious breakfast for us and it felt almost like being hosted by a family friend. I contrived to leave a pair of shoes behind and Roger was good enough to post them on to me.
I can thoroughly recommend Manor Farm to anyone contemplating staying in this area, cycling or otherwise.

Very welcoming and comfortable with excellent accommodation and a more than adequate breakfast.
We really enjoyed our stay and the whole experience was as good as we hoped, if not better.

We have just returned from Manor Farm and we had a great time. This accomodation was great for us as a family (2 young children 6 & 8). The rooms are modern & child friendly. The hosts Roger & Kristina were very helpful with regards to what to do in the area. Would highly recommend, a place we felt so "at home" that we will definately go back year after year.

A lovely place to stay, especially if you are a bird watcher heading for the Bempton Cliffs RSPB reserve, or you are going to be walking along the coastal paths. This isn't a place for nightlife, rather wildlife! The barn renovation was completed in April 2011, so everything is still fresh and new looking, very modern and tastefully decorated. Roger is very friendly, and the breakfasts are good. There are also 2 very pleasant women around, presumably not both his wives! If you are an eco-warrior, then there is a direct bus to right outside the property from Bridlington (also a train station a mile away) - you don't have to drive to access it, though it is a lot easier with a car. Great meals within a couple of miles at the Honeypot Inn, Speeton, and the Seabirds in Flamborough. Spring is a gorgeous time to visit, with daffodils outside - but book sunshine for your visit as then it is very scenic - in the rain there would be absolutely nothing to do. Except, of course, there is wifi, free and reliable - wonderful! The barn is bed and breakfast, with self-catering flats across the courtyard in another building - but the arrangements can be varied, so if you happen to have a medium sized group of you staying, then they can be adapted to your own needs. There are 4 bedrooms in the B&B normally - ideal for a family get-together, as there is also a nice lounge downstairs.

Room Tip: Upstairs or downstairs looking south is probably the more scenic option

We enjoyed a lovely stay at Manor Farm including a warm welcome, very comfortable room and tasty breakfast. Will definitely recommend to friends and hope to return in the future ourselves. We used the B&B as a base to explore the nearby RSPB nature reserve at Bempton Cliffs and to complete a wonderful costal walk.

Clean, pleasant and welcoming, we really enjoyed our stay at Manor Farm. The rooms are modern, cosy and very tastefully decorated. The breakfast was excellent and the service matched the food.
Roger is a really pleasant guy and made us feel like we were 'old friends' straight away.

Located in a beautiful little village with loads of attractions just a short drive away, and plenty of countryside on it's doorstep if walking is for you.
