We stayed here over the bank holiday . What a lovely place , the rooms are spotless and the staff are all so friendly. We only had continental breakfast which is inclusive in the room price . There is everything that you could want to eat though , croissants, cereal , toast , danish pastries , fruit juice tea and coffee . There are even morning newspapers for you to read. There is a carvery and although we didn't eat there because we were meeting family , it was always busy and smelled delicious. I would recommend this hotel to anyone for a break and although it is basic is excellent , first class clean accomodation

Stayed here recently when my husband was in the nearby hospital. The staff are very friendly and try and do as much for you as possible. It felt like a home from home to me as a lone traveller. The rooms are a good size and nicely furnished. Lovely shower and TV. It was convenient for my purposes to stay here but I had to use taxis all the time - I would have liked to have visited the Willerby shopping park regularly; I only managed to get across the road and back once on foot as there is no pavement to walk on and you have to take your chances with the traffic which is manic ALL the time. There is no let up at all. No noise was heard from the road during the night though. I would only recommend this lodge if you are travelling by car. The food was good in the adjacent restaurant too - continental style breakfast (included in the price) and very reasonably priced lunch and evening meals. 10/10 highly recommended overall.

We stayed for 3 nights with the 3 nights for price of 2 deal, which was a very good value.

The room was a reasonable size for this type of accommodation - the en-suite had a largish shower which was excellent..
The bed was very comfortable.
The room & building is well maintained.

Check-in was very friendly and efficient, the staff were ready to go out of their way to help and answer any question.

The breakfast (which was included in the price) is a good continental style.

Will definitely come back.

Be warned that if you go between Fri and Sat that this location might attract people you would rather not be in situ with. The rooms are extremely poorly soundproofed and you can hear absolutely everything next door and above you. Our stay was spoiled by a group of thoughtless louts who got tanked up and made a lot of noise into the wee hours of the night. We complained and were put in a room the following day next to a noisy air conditioning unit and had the same problem with yobbish behaviour the following night of a three night stay - the arrangements for the night porter were not good and although the policy of the lodge was apparently 'to eject' troublemakers in practice very little was done. Our advice is to choose somewhere slightly more expensive which will be able to provide a standard of service.

We visited the Toby Carvery next door to the Innkeepers Lodge and asked if we could book a nights stay in the hotel, we were given a 0845 number to book even though we were stood at reception! We did call the number and make a booking and although given a room right at the back overlooking the kitchen area the room was clean, comfortable and the shower was excellent.

The breakfast was a continental self service arrangement, plenty of choice and unhurried. When we checked Trip advisor this was the number 1 choice for Hull and if people are looking for an uncomplicated B&B in the area then I can understand why this gets its rating. The food at the Toby Carvery was plentiful good English fayre which enhanced the stay, we would book again.

We stayed for 3 nights under the 3 nights for price of 2 deal, which was good value.

The lodge is two storey - lower has rooms at the front only; upstairs front & back - the latter overlooks farmland. The room was a reasonable size for this type of accommodation - the en-suite had a largish shower, but no bath & looked as though the fitments were relatively new. The chairs & room furniture looked older, but were not shabby. The bed was extremely bouncy, but not uncomfortable. The room & building in general seemed to be well maintained & apart from an odd corner very clean.

Unlike a previous reviewer I would have to say that the sound did travel between rooms - we were clearly next to a room with young children.

Check-in was very friendly and efficient at the adjacent carvery & next morning when we went for breakfast staff checked thing were OK. The breakfast (included in room price) is a reasonable continental style affair - not the best or worst of its kind.

The carvery gets very busy in the early evening which could be a snag if you want to check-in then & also the car park got very full at this time.

Cheap Quality Hotel. Check for Offers - buy two get one free etc., makes this place really good value. Ask for rooms overlooking field at back. Bed slightly too soft for my liking but no problems sleeping, very quiet and hotel was full. Check in is in the Toby Carvery next door (where the inclusive high quality continental breakfast is served, as much as you want to eat). Use the Carvery for your Sat Nav or the adjacent Shell Petrol Station, following the post code will make you end you up at a farm! Carvery meals are good value. Service cannot be bettered, very friendly and efficient. Only drawback is the hotel is a 15/20 minute drive to Hull Centre.
