Great place and great cabins, everything in them a home from home, John & Martin Burke very welcoming and great for all the information on what to see and do, lough key is a great spot to visit, nice pub 5 minutes away, the food was top class, we will be back.
Great value fot money. Nice little extras a welcome pack supplied with a bag of logs for the fire if required also because it was chilly the heating was on. Plenty of brouchers for local activits. Great little pub 5 mins. Walk away.
Just back from a lovely weekend in Riverhaven Log Cabins. They are beautiful. So cosy with the big wood burner in sitting area. Mrs Burke was very friendly and very helpful. We were provided with logs for the fire and had some basics in the fridge to get us started. Everything was very clean. She even offered us some lifejackets so we could use the wooden boats at the lake, which was on a beautiful walk along the river.
I would definitely go back for another stay during the summer. Well worth it.
We stayed in a wonderful log house in knockvicar for 3 nights. The kids (6&8) loved it as did parents, aunty Jane & the grandparents. Very spacious & comfortable houses, lots of space for kids to run around & play outside.lots to do - a little forest, a lake, a river, a farm. Lovely riverside walk to shop for ice-cream, a short row to pub for dinner & a short drive to the fabulous lough key forest park.a hidden gem
