What can I say the hotel and every member of staff are amazing the food is out of this world. We had our whole wedding on 2nd August 2014 and couldn't have been more happy.I stayed there the night before and got ready there The staff went above and beyond the call of duty on both days and everytime we go there nothing was too much trouble to make our day magical... extra special thanks to Kayleigh Jemma and Gareth.

Stayed for one night in July, upgraded to a suite which was well worth the extra money, great room, sitting area and bathroom with a lovely decked terrace.
Really liked this hotel, staff were friendly and the conversion from miners cottages was very well done. the bed was enormous and comfortable.
Suited us perfectly and will stay again

Room Tip: We think suites are well worth the extra money.

This is a three star hotel so do not expect The Ritz. I was in the area with the intention of visiting Hardwick Hall, Bolsover Castle and Chatsworth and came accross Twin Oaks after a Google search.

The Hotel is very close to junction 29 on the M1 and was easy to find. The staff were very helpful. The room was smart and clean and tidy. The food was fine and the menu was vegetarian friendly.

I have no complaints and would say "well done" to the staff and management.

Room Tip: We were in twin room 7 and it was fine

The hotel we booked at had no record of our booking but suggested we try here. We're glad we did because the food was excellent, the room was lovely including a really good power shower. The staff made us feel very welcome after the nasty experience of being turned away by another hotel.

Try the smoke salmon ad scrambled eggs for breakfast - really delicious

Room Tip: Try the superior double - very comfortable

Stayed here for one night mid July. Surprised how close it was to motorway so easy to get to although you couldn't see or really hear traffic from the hotel. Lovely welcome from reception staff. Our room was on 1st floor. Room very clean, tidy with nice modern furnishings and bathroom with very good shower. Room slightly on small side and bathroom compact but just fine for a one night stay. On a hot stuffy day in July it was warm in the room but once the window was opened it soon cooled down. Enjoyed nice selection of drinks in the bar. Breakfast was buffet style with basic selection of cereal, yogurts , toast and hot items for cooked breakfast. It was have what you want for set price of around £8. Departure was quick and simple and only give mins drive from Hardwick Hall.
