Overlooking the Kryukov Canal, this exceptionally beautiful Cathedral is home to a number of revered 18th-century icons and a fine carved wooden iconostasis. Locally, it is known as the Sailors’ Cathedral and it rises among the trees at the bottom of Ulitsa Glinki. The golden Baroque spires and domes are extremely impressive!

This cathedral is huge and airy, and gorgeous. The outside of the main rotunda is covered with motifs including anchors. There is an area inside devoted to the history of the church, including a photo of tsar nicholas. Take a few moments to put down your camera and take in the atmosphere. Each section of the ceiling is different, its beautiful!
