I can't really add to all the praise that has already been given. This is a wonderful chambre d'hote which is also multi-lingual as far as i can tell. Lovely decor, very welcoming hosts and the most amazing breakfast i have seen in along time or maybe ever! Nothing seemed to be too much trouble, right down to setting us the table so that we could eat our takeaway pizza (it was Sunday so no table d'hote) and coming up trumps with a marvellous wine choice (so good we then bought 6 bottles to take home!)
We were a sort of family group including a young wheelchair user and the ground floor bedrrom was large enough for us to share with him whilst the other person in our groups had a room upstairs. The lovely ensuite was huge and whilst not specifically an adapted shower room it was plenty big enough for our purposes. The owners were very keen to have any suggestions to help with access and so i did mention that a hand rail by the toilet would be good. I really hope i have to travel in the Dijon direction again in the not too distant future!

We stayed here for one night on our way from Avignon towards Reims. This was an excellent place to stay in a peaceful village, yet only around 10 minutes drive into the centre of Dijon (which we loved!) Our room was superb, with stunning bathroom and nice little balcony to sit out on and relax. A very friendly owner who gave us a brilliant greeting, and insisted on carrying our case upstairs bless her! There was a nice room downstairs where you could make yourself a tea or coffee, free of charge (lots of choice of tea, excellent). Hubby liked the drinks fridge and got himself a beer (its added to your bill, very reasonable price) Lots of travel books and local information to look at, and tips on where you could eat out or park in the city. We could have got the train in but decided to drive, it was easy enough.
Anyway, whats not to like, great people, great place, fantastic comfortable room, friendly chat with other guests at the breakfast table. This place was SO clean, it was like new. The breakfast really was the best we'd had in 3 weeks in France, great choice.
Out of a holiday that involved staying in 2 hotels, 3 gites and 3 bed and breakfasts this was by far the best for quality, food, cleanliness, friendliness of owner, room decor. We would love to go back for longer and are saving our pennies for a return visit (longer next time).

Room Tip: I have no doubt that every room will be lovely, but the room we stayed in was Calendula which had a...

I was pleasantly surprised staying at Ame de la Terre. Our host was extremely accomodating, kind and knowledgeable about wine. Our accommodations were first class, very clean, comfortable and modern. They have a small but wonderful selected wine shop, where you can purchase a bottle and enjoy it on the terrace. Our breakfast was bountiful from fresh baked croissants, yogurt, cheese, meats, fruit, and individually prepared eggs exactly how you like them. I will definitely return and highly recommend it to everyone! Thank you for making our time there wonderful.

Room Tip: Great location close to Dijon!

What a wonderful little find - thanks to the Trip Advisor community. Two weeks into our 5 week European honeymoon we spent a delightful day and night in Ruffey les Echirey at the Ame de la Terre
We managed to secure the last booking and were very happy with it. A spacious, light, airy room with very comfortable bed, spacious bathroom with a proper hair dryer and towels that smelled fresh and homey, not sterile like in a hotel! We also had a little balcony, which had it not been raining, we would have loved to sit and share a wine on
Our hosts, Philippe and Simone were warm and welcoming, and fluent in English which certainly helped my limited French. Philippe was more than happy to recommend restaurants and things to do in nearby Dijon. We arrived on a public holiday so many restaurants were closed, we decided on pizza from a local pizzeria and wine from Philippe's cellar. Philippe very kindly offered to collect it for us and another guest couple who chose to spend the night in
Breakfast this morning was plentiful, cereal, fruit, croissants, cold meats, cheese, bread, juice, coffee, eggs... All fresh, tasty and beautifully presented. Nice to sit around the table with the other guests
We are off to Lyon now, would love to have stayed here longer

We were two and a half weeks into a 3 week driving trip around (parts of) France. I fully endorse all of the previous reviewers' comments. As this chambre d'hote is located in a village just outside of Dijon centre you will need a car to access it but parking is not an issue and the location is very quiet. Unfortunately, we only had one night available in our itinerary to spend here, but certainly wished that we could have stayed longer. Luckily though, that was the night (Tuesday) that Simone serves a delicious meal, complete with wine selected by her husband Philippe (a sommelier). If you have the opportunity to indulge in one of Simone's dinners, then I strongly suggest that you make the most of it. We drove to the nearby tram station (plenty of free parking) and caught the tram into Dijon- very straightforward and stress free. We stayed in the Agastache room which is located on the ground floor and were so pleased to have a break from dragging our luggage up and down stairs! This room is also very large as it is designed for guests who are mobility impaired so we had plenty of space to spread oursleves out and relax. Thank you to Simone and Philippe for creating such a peaceful sanctuary that can be enjoyed by weary travellers.

Room Tip: If you want to avoid the stairs and have plenty of space, choose the Agastache room.

We were absolutely delighted with our stay here, what a find! Simone is simply the ideal hostess, she couldn’t do enough for us and made us feel welcome and at home. The room was spacious, clean and had everything we needed; bathrobes, hair dryer, bottled water , free wifi etc.
We took the tram into Dijon and left the car at the park and ride, very easy and in town in 15 minutes. Breakfast was lovely with lots of fresh fruit, pastries, beads, cheeses, eggs and meats.
Complimentary tea/coffee and cake was an added bonus especially as we had driven from Italy. You can also help yourself to beer and wine from the fridge and add it to your bill; there is even a nice garden to sit in if the weather is good.
We will definitely return, one of the friendliest and nicest places we’ve stayed.

When I first found this B&B on trip advisor, I was immediately suspicious as the ratings seemed too good! Having being there my self, I can say the rating is truly deserved.

It is a lovely bed and breakfast with really lovely service

- rooms are clean, new, with a massive double bed and with all you need including a hair dryer and bath robes
- breakfast is great with a lovely selection of food - cereals, eggs, cake, fruit, fresh bread, cheese, ham.... The list goes on
- option to have coffee / tea with cake and fruit all day (lovely touch!)
- wine and beer fridge in the seating are if you want a drink
- free parking on the street and nearby
- easy to get to from the motorway
- quiet location
- if you want to get to Dijon the tram stop is 5 min drive away with free parking - 1.20 each way and takes less than 15 min. So much easier than driving
- service from Simone is amazing - restaurant and wine recommendations and always making sure we had all we needed
- little wine shop is very practical and they give great advice
- free wifi

In a nutshell all you could need - a few hotels could learn a lot!

Truly made for a lovely stay for my husband's birthday - thank you! We will be back :-)
