This restaurant closed down in March. The owner, Gian Claudio told us that he had very few customers because of the bad location of the restaurants and its surroundings. He now works for an Italian food supplier and siunds happier to have learned the invaluable lesson in the restaurant business - location, location, location.

Frankly it should not be a big surprise that the restaurant failed . It was located in a small street fairly far from the beach; so whoever designed the original web-site had both its address - Bang Tao Beach - and it s location on the map touching the Andaman Sea wrong.

Anyway one wishes Gian Claudio all the best. He clearly loves cooking and we hope he will be back one day with a restaurant more suitably located in reality and also correctly shown on the web-site.

Like the title says. Great homemade pasta cooked properly and fresh pizza. The pizza sauce is quite acidic (in a good way) so be warned. Had a few meals there and they deliver. The restaurant is simple and in a quaint location in the Surin Beach area. Very reasonable prices and a family run feel.

We ate in Garden Flavors in 4 people. We’ve all been very satisfied by the quality of the food. In particular we’ve appreciated fresh past and very good seafood.
Even the wine was excellent, ice cream and coffe as well and the price quite reasonable.

Since we have kids we always make a visit or two in Italian restaurants when we are traveling. Often it is mainly a good experience for the kids, but tonight we all enjoyed eating Italian. I don't know how the very enthusiastic owners managed to make it taste so Italian, but the tomatoes were sweet and powerful, the mozzarella creamy and tasteful and the wine as rich as you only find it haunting the vineyards in North Italy. For a moment we almost forgot that we were in Thailand if it wasn't for the fresh and delightful seafood from the Andaman Sea in our delicious and perfect risotto.
So if you need a break from lemongrass and lime leaves do not hesitate to visit Gardens of Flavours.

We came across this little place by chance when passing through Bang Tao one night recently. Spotted the Italian flag and thought it would be nice for a chance. The owner Gian Claudio was extremely welcoming. His friendly approach and wide knowledge of Italian food are a persuasive combination. It was late when we called and near closing time, with a few items not in the menu. So he kindly cooked up an alternative version of lasagne with a fettucine pasta, which was truly delicious. We also had a tasty antepasta board to start, with parmesan & mozzarella cheese, focaccia bread with salami and parma ham. Whilst being slightly more expensive than a regular basic Thai dish, as the restaurant name suggests, it truly is a garden of flavours.
