I have just returned from a stay at this hotel and whilst lovely there were some major issues. We were a party of 8 ladies and had endless problems with the restaurants trying to get a table together for dinner. Breakfast and Lunch were fine. For example we were told by the concierge on arrival that we could only book tables for 18.30 or 21.00. On attending at 21.00 the staff were not happy as they were due to close at 2200 hrs generally which resulted in poor service in the Mexican restaurant, the Italian refused to give us a table together but next to each other however whilst 1 table was on main courses the other table had not had starters and we did not return there. This hotel caters for weddings however not a group of 8. We also booked Le Chique, the actual booking process was dreadful but the food, thankfully, delicious, even though they fail to inform you of the $49 to have wine which compliments the food, worth it though.

Thank you for sharing feedback with us on your recent experiences at the Azul Sensatori Hotel. I’d like you to know that we welcome all feedback, as we are constantly looking for ways to improve and perfect the guest experience at our hotel.
Further, we do apologize for the difficulties you seem to have had while dining as a group. In many of our restaurants such as Spoon, Zocalo and Tapas, we have several larger tables that can accommodate six to eight persons. If these tables are already taken, the guests can choose to wait or sit at separate tables, close to one another.

Out of respect for fellow diners and to maintain the ambience of the restaurant, we cannot move or push tables once the restaurant is open. If guests do wish to eat as a group in our restaurants, a table can be prepared prior to set times at 6.00 pm or 9.00 pm so that the minimum disturbance is caused.
We hope to see you again at one of our Azul Hotels, by Karisma in the near future so that we can show you first-hand, how you your comments have helped us achieve excellence across our hotels.

Like one other review, we though the resort was great but Prestige Travel is something to stay away from. If you trade through Interval or RCI, you will have to check in with them but don't let them change your room.

We had a large room in the family section on the 2nd floor with a privacy screen. It was large with a view of the pool and side view of the sea. Prestige offered to upgrade us and sent us to a small room with a view of an area that is used for wedding receptions claiming it would be quieter and have a better view. We quickly told them to move us back and we were glad we did. There were loud receptions there every night and it was quiet in the family section.

The best part of the resort is the staff. They are friendly and go out of their way to make your trip nice. The food was excellent in all of the restaurants except the Caribbean themed one where the Mahi-Mahi was dry and tough.

The pool and beach were not crowded even though the hotel was full. The beach does have a lot of seaweed and is rocky beyond the water line.

Room Tip: Ask for the family section or pay the premium to stay in the premium section. Avoid the Azul building and the adults only building in May/June due to the wedding receptions.

This is our second time at Azul Sensatori. The staff is always smiling and reaching out to provide you with whatever you need. There is lack for want of nothing there. The food was excellent, the service by the wait-staff and pool was. The grounds are kept up; the pool and jacuzzis are ph tested and cleaned every single day. There is alsways someone up keeping the grounds. Activities for adults and kids alike - and the kids are busy enought that you never see them. All the restaurants provided a vast selection of foods that were prepared to perfection. Drinks by the pool, on the beach, at the bar - anything you asked for and it was yours. There is afternoon 'tea and cookies' where you can sit on a swinging bed, a swinging chair or a rocker and just let the afternoon pass by. The rooms were immaculate - fresh towels everyday - floors cleaned, bed made, refrigerator re-stocked. When you get to Azul Sensatori, you can literally leave the outside world behind. Everyone is attentive and they will do everything to make your stay there memorable.

Room Tip: You can not go wrong with any choice

We stayed in the premium section which meant we had the premium pool and the premium section of the beach. Which was fantastic. I could not fault the staff and everything was so immaculately clean. The food was delicious, especially the lunchtime burgers in the Caribbean restaurant. However, the evening meals were quite small and chips and a side should be supplied. Didn't think the tapas restaurant was up to much. I could live at this hotel though! It was great! 5* all round.

My partner and I arrived here and was very impressed , greeted with champagne and cold towels which was very welcome, we were given a free upgrade so once again very impressed we have a lovely ocean front room . We settled into our holiday lovely and it feels like paradise views are beautiful weather delightful. We decided as most people do to book a few trips up to this point the thomson reps were just there with no significance. Once we choose our trips they were very quick to take our money but no real information given and no tickets we had to chase these up ourselves and we're even asked to pay for a phone call to the rep which we declined to pay as it was not our fault.We went on the dolphin trip this was awesome would recommend but this is nothing to do with the reps they played no part besides taking the money. We then booked for a speed boat which was cancelled due to the sea being a bit rough and we thought just rebook for another day which we did but on the day we found out that we had not been booked on so no trip much to our disappointment we then refused to go on principle getting a refund was interesting they were more interested in the people who we're parting with their hard earned cash. This hotel is great the hotel staff work hard and can't do enough for you I would defiantly recommend the hotel but don't expect a good service from the thomson reps. I originally wrote this while still there on holiday we are back now still feel the same about the thomson reps but the Azul Sensatori and it's staff are fantastic we miss them all Nancy and Luis our pool butler all the guys at the Caribbean restaurant there are too many to name but thank you so much x
