This was plain gorgeous. There are three ways in. The zipline, the base jump, or the chicken steps. First we ziplined in. Was very nervous because I was told that the cenote would be very cold. Simply put, it was not cold but refreshing. The water was crystal clear and you could see the fish swimming within. On the second entry, we jumped from the 40-50 foot cliff. I had second thoughts after looking down at the water and fear of the unknown in the water. What the heck, off I went. It was great!!!!! Our guide, Merak (www.hummerjungletours.com) also ziplined and jumped with us. He remained in the cenote for the kids as a reassurance due to the height. The area is in the jungle so the restrooms and changing facilities are very basic but serve the purpose. This was nice to swim after the dusty ATV ride. We also learned the Mayan history of the cenote and learned a lot. Would definitely recommend this if you want to experience something different.

This is a great, natural cenote, not man made like some others. The people are friendly and the price is reasonable about $10-12 US/pp. Just take a taxi (arrange pick up in advance because there is no cell service.) No need to go thru the expense of a tour operator. Two jumping platforms and a zip line to drop into the cool fresh water. This cenote is also shady for folks who have gotten too much sun. A one-of-a-kind experience.

We passed on the tours and took a cab to this cenote. It was refreshing and fun. My sons 12 and 15 loved the cliff and zip line. We spent a couple hours there just relaxing. Cost us much less than a tour and we had a great adventure! It is rustic and not touristy at all. A few groups came through, but no more than 8 of us at the cenote at a time. Met our needs perfectly!

Two families from San Diego decided to drive from Zona Hotelera in Cancun to this spot (35-40 minutes) a little tough to find (but all the best spots are!) The grounds are immaculately kept (previous negative review was clearly not here since it was only two weeks previous, and there is no way it could go from nightmare to gorgeous hidden paradise) 6 adults, 4 kids total cost was $90 American (150 pesos for adults and 100 pesos for niños). Lifejackets were provided for the kids. You can jump from 2 different spots at 15 and 25 feet respectively. Also has a cool zip line. While a bit daunting at first my 6 year old had no problem jumping and zip lining from the lower spot. I have been to several of the cenotes on the Ruta de Cenotes and this is one of the few I would return to. Timing is everything, when we got there, 7-8 other people were also swimming and jumping, within 30 minutes we were all alone. Highly recommended. Speaking Spanish is both helpful and respectful, considering that these areas are extremely special.
