“Great service, view & food”
Reviewed 14 May 2014

Stayed for 2 nights at campsights 1 & 2 over Mother's Day weekend. Amazing view & awesome service from check-in, golf cart to bring our camping gear from our car to our camping site, to checkout. The restrooms/showers/hot tub were all fantastic as well. The food at the restaurant is good but pretty expensive. Staying at a campsite at $100/night, I guess this is to be expected. We will certainly be back! Thanks for a great stay.

“A tiny glimpse of paradise”
Reviewed 10 April 2014 via mobile

Organic salad picked from the garden, accompanied by vegetarian cranberry and goat cheese pizza, a succulent filet for the carnivore, a gorgeous house wine. Service top level Californian, just a perfect evening.

“Good restaurant, Great sushi bar”
Reviewed 4 December 2013

We stayed in this yurt inn hung on the cliffs above the ocean an hour south of Big Sur. The restaurant is warm and welcoming and the food was delicious. There are many vegetarian/vegen dishes and the inn boasts its own large organic garden onsite that welcomes you to wander its rows and lanes. What was most memorable was the detached sushi bar a 2 minute walk across a boardwalk in an adjacent building. Be warned it is TINY and has only 6-8 barstool seats which oversee 1) the sushi masters at work and 2) the sunset over the Pacific. Get there early to get a seat and then be prepared to buy sushi and drinks to justify keeping your seat. Yes you sit there at sunset and have outstanding and fresh sushi with just a few fellow diners all watching the sun set over the ocean. Chillin! We stayed in the yurts and it was enjoyable. The PCH won't allow permanent structures so this is their dodge to site these lodgings right on the edge of the cliffs. Beautiful. Too bad yurts can't have windows the views are awesome (we stayed outside until we were ready to crash) There is no indoor plumbing so the walk to the shared bath house offer us an amazing star studded experience late/early each evening. Really amazing.
