What a great place this was! walk up to the counter, select from a variety of soups, salads, sandwiches, too many to name.
We split a tri tip sandwich on yummy, fresh bread. Served with fries, this was an ample bite to tide us over before dinner. While the Nepenthe is more of a touristy place with amazing views, this was a quiet oasis of down home flavors.
We ate on the redwood picnic tables in the back, overlooking the camping area of the Fernwood Resort.
We're really glad we found it and wished we could have stayed and played pool or simply hung out for the rest of the day and night. The motel looked really cozy and the rooms were nice - we were just out of time!
