This was our first time at the restaurant. The service was superb. The food was very good but did not quite meet the standard that we expected from the rave reviews of our friends. The pasta with duck ragout was excellent but the veal with truffles was very dry. We had 3 meals and each had a high point and a low point. The location is a bit out of the way. In order to entice travelers on the Lake to drive to a more remote location, you need either great food and/or a great view. We knew this restaurant had no view (and it has some road noise) but the food was not excellent considering the price. The staff was delightful and this made up for some of our disappointment.
