I had a beautiful four hour paddle with Uteguiden in mid-May. I contacted them on a Sunday and we were on the water the very next day. I met Oscar, my guide, at their office in Stranda and he drove us to the launch site in Hellesylt. He was very experienced and proficient, professional but laid back. He shared stories about the old farmsteads along the fjord and talked about some of the flora and fauna, all the while pacing the trip to my speed and comfort. He also took photos and emailed them to me the next day. Overall a very fun and memorable day on beautiful Sunnylvsfjorden!
