The location is great and the revamp that has accompanied the name change from The Beach Front is pretty good with the deck having new furniture and so forth.

Our party had the Classic Kiwi Fish & Chips and the Szechwan Salt & Pepper Calamari. The fish was soft and we guessed cooked from frozen and the Calamari was bland - devoid of salt & pepper and any hint of Szechwan. The rocket salad was more reminiscent of garnish being a few rocket leaves hidden under the calamari.

No it wasn't bad but really with a new chef (according to the web site) you'd hope for better.

The people before us had left most of their meals which should have been a warning.

Better to take a one minute walk along the waterfront to Charlie Farley's.

We are very sorry and very surprised to hear your experience. As fish & chips and calamari are two very popular meals. We served over 500 fish & chips and over 300 calamari in April alone. We get nothings but prays for these meals. We have no record regards anybody complained about these two dishes. We always ask our customers to make sure they are satisfied. And if not we make sure we solve the problem there and then.

We had brunch here after in the middle of a bike trip around Waiheke. Nice food and particularly impressed with the service. Great location right on the beach with a good choice of outdoor and indoor seating.

Located right on the beach, great for relaxing and unwinding. Service was slow, food average but not a terrible experience

Friendly, modern place with a fantastic view. Food: upmarket fast food...not much choice for something fresh and health. Salad was a bit sad.

The staff are all very pleasant and the food is pretty good (ate breakfast and lunch there) but the coffee was awful although I am fussy with coffee...
