“One night was not enough”
Reviewed 9 July 2016 for a stay in July 2016

Jarramali is a centrally located, well equipped and fastidiously maintained property. The views from the balconies were spectacular. We loved bathing on the balcony downstairs and BBQing on the balcony upstairs. The tropical gardens were beautiful and attracted beautiful butterflies and birdlife.

“Exquisite - ideal base for Cape tribulation”
Reviewed 18 June 2016 for a stay in June 2016

This was a highlight of a three month tour of Australia - sitting above the rain forest with stunning views the location was e emotional. Easy access (provided you have your rental) to all parts of Cape Trib in 30mins. Excellent food close by or can be prepared yourself - stock up in any of the supermarkets between Cairns/Port Douglas. A real treat and whilst we had heavy rain - was a wonderful experience...will book again when over from UK

“A beautiful setting with a spectacular view”
Reviewed 17 April 2016 for a stay in April 2016

We loved this place. It has a great outside area to enjoy the view and watch the birds and butterflies visit the garden (which is itself of note). The property is quiet and was clean and well -equipped. It is perfectly situated for a quick trip to the ice-cream shop next door where they make ice-cream from various tropical fruits!

“Magic!”
Reviewed 1 April 2016 for a stay in January 2016

We stayed 5 nights and didn't want to leave. The view is fantastic. The bathtub is inspired. We were two couples travelling together and the set up is perfect - each floor has a bedroom and ensuite. The outdoor entertaining area is great for BBQ and chilling out while admiring the view. A great location from which to explore Cape Trib or simply stay in and don't go anywhere!

“Unbeatable! No other place as good as this”
Reviewed 1 March 2016 for a stay in February 2016

Out of our 2 week stay in Australia, this was the most spectacular location and home we stayed at. It is immaculately kept. Cleanliness is so important to us and this house was exceptional! Everything is meticulously cared for. The home is so beautiful, and you can tell the owners really care. We even had fresh flowers waiting for us on the dining room table when we arrived. Nothing is better than waking up to the view from the porch with a cup of coffee, staying there all day, and ending the night with the same view and a glass of wine. We truly enjoyed this gem! Cant wait to return!

This house truly is a treasure amid the Daintree. The exceptional outlook from the deck across the rainforest to the sea (visible between the hills) is the first thing you notice as you get out of your car – you can’t see the property from the road as the superb landscaping ensures your absolute privacy both from the road and neighbours who could occasionally be heard behind the forest but never seen. Lazing in the hammock or the bath and watching the frequent Ulysses butterflies is a real treat - as was watching the stars at night and the sunrises. The temperature was surprisingly pleasant and we only occasionally needed to use the fans as there was usually a breeze. Worth noting that all cooking has to be done on a gas cook-top (no microwave or oven). To make toast you need to use the "camping toasters" over the gas flame. Very convenient location - just be sure you pass the Ice Cream Company (on the left) not the Ice Cream Factory (on the right) before you start looking for the turn!

“Hands down, the most spectacular view anyone could hope for in a holiday house”
Reviewed 30 October 2015 for a stay in October 2015

We only spent one night at Jarramali after our trip to Cape Tribulation, but it is a highly beautiful and peaceful spot. This house, hands down, has the most spectacular view anyone could hope for in a holiday house. The sunrises are breathtaking, the house is cosy and clean. The bed is super comfortable. The gardens are immaculate and lush. I literally could go on and on. I totally fell in love with this house, and location, and hope to go back one day.

The house is made of wood, and has a refreshing elevation. We spent two nights prior at another holiday house located deeper in the forest and at ground level. It is really humid in there! Here, you get the experience without the sweat marks!

The deck is glorious... there's a tv AND mobile reception. It really is the best of all worlds...

Only one remark that is not completely glowing... the toilet is very awkward! (due to a small bathroom) if you're lucky, you wont be spending much time on it!

I cannot recommend this piece of heaven highly enough to anyone who wants to explore the Daintree / Great Barrier Reef.
