After our visit last year,we returned to find a new chef and some new staff! The new Chef is even better all the staff treated us like Royalty,in fact we were spoilt rotten.Ithink that being able to remember eveyones name helps!Even so nothing is too much trouble and the food is as good as a 5star London Restaurant!Everything else is as good or better than last year.Wonderful, accomodation, views and food along with what feels like Family[the nice type]Thanks for letting us back!

Room Tip: I do not think there is a bad room in the Hotel!

Having never ben to Colombia, I had no idea what to expect of the accommodations, but that all changed fast when we arrived late one night to stay a few nights here.
First off the General Manager , Filipe was "john on the spot" -in fact everyone was genuinely helpful and interested in us (more so than anywhere else we went in Colombia)
The owners Omar and Josh were friendly too and obviously took a lot of pride in the beautiful establishment with an amazing view, big rooms, top notch pool and spa and a good restaurant.
Everyone we talked to in the Coffee region knows that this place is one of the top 2-3 in the country.
Oh and I forgot to mention, they have a great wine selection too! (Thanks Josh!!)

A delightful Capestre (country) hotel located in one of the most beautiful areas of Colombia. The staff especially Alex and Felipe were extremely helpful and able to recommend and arrange 3 side trips (1. Panaca - an animal park. 2. National Coffee Park. 3. Small cities in the department of Quindio). The hotel is 1500 meters down a dirt road and in a really beautiful quiet area. The restaurant has a spectacular view of the valley. Breakfast is included: eggs, pancakes, fresh fruit and of course orange juice and coffee. The fare is typical of the area and there are vegetarian meals available (not easily found in Colombia). The property is extremely well kept up. The pool is very clean and has a waterfall at the end which makes for a relaxing ambiance. There is a small sauna and steam room and massages can be arranged. The jacuzzi near the waterfall is very relaxing. We had a corner suite on the second floor with a wrap around balcony chairs and a hammock. The view was spectacular. There is an ecological walk down a very steep embankment so if you are not in good shape the walk back up the hill is a workout. If you do go, there are many beautiful plants. Keep in mind this is a country hotel so if you are looking for gourmet food, fabulous spa and luxury accommodations you will disappointed, but if you are looking for a true "Colombian experience" with friendly helpful people, a quiet paradise in the country and one of the most satisfying enjoyable vacations you will ever have, this is the place. One of the owners is from the US and speaks perfect English.

Room Tip: Ask for rooms on second floor and next to pool, those have the best views.

The Hotel Mirador Las Palmas is a Hotel Campestre so be prepared for a 1.2 km drive along an unpaved road. The hotel is beautifully situated with great views and an “ecological walk” which takes about 45 minutes. The rooms were spacious and adequate and the hotel and grounds also beautiful with a variety of plants and flowers. The service was excellent with all staff being very attentive. The menu for dinner is international but not good quality. Wine menu is limited to one red and one white. Breakfast was buffet style but all Colombian food.

It´s an amazing hotel. Nothing to say except that you have to go there once in your life.
5* for the service and the location. We had a room with an entire view on the valley. Breathtaking!
There are sauna, hammam, pool and Ping pong.
I recommand it for couples and families.

It´s just paradise !!

This place was wonderful! I can only state what every body else has stated, it's beautiful! We stayed here because the hacienda we had booked closed in August. Our room had an incredible view and the staff were super friendly. Depending on what you ordered, the food was just ok. Too bad there isn't a near by farm to get fresh veggies. Other than that, this place is top notch. Go stay there now!
