Chose this hotel as its always good to have a new experience! This place is not the usual. Its an old warehouse that has been loosely renovated keeping its industrial edge, elaborating on this; exposed plumbing, steel beams which have been teamed up with soft plush furnishings in the main lounge – which is feel worked quite well, lots of art pieces and books to borrow during your stay. The lounge is dimly lit, however huge windows bring in a vast amount of light during the day.
We were greeted by lovely staff throughout our stay and helped in any way they could! However no uniforms do make it hard to know who to ask when you need help.
We stayed in a superior plus room, which has the luxury of a window, however please note these windows do NOT open! I found this quite stressful, especially when having to deal with the OVER POWERING smell of air fresheners (or whatever that smell was) throughout our stay Luckily we did manage to bag the ONLY fan in the establishment, which is lucky, as I do not know how id have coped in that stuffy perfumed room...surely a porthole or something can be done to allow everyone access to fresh natural air!?

The room, although SUPERIOR was probably the same as a basic, but with a window? Its BASIC! It compromised of a double bed with ONE pillow each, which makes watching TV lying down (chin on chest) not the most relaxing, however we asked for another set at reception and they provided some with no problems. A wicker bedside table (just one side) we used a chair on the other side, it wouldn’t take much to attach a corner shelf just to put a drink or your glasses etc on. A school desk with a tea tray – can’t comment on this as we didn’t use it and chair. A TV and tub chair. The wardrobe is open with ample hangers. There is a wooden shelf and full length mirror with a hairdryer. The hairdryer in our room was plugged into an extension lead on the floor this goes up and through the slats on the shelf (so you cannot tealeaf the hairdryer) using the hairdryer can be tricky, would have been fine if it was plugged in directly under the shelf, allowing more cord to come through so you can do both sides of your hair without a fight – thought-out little touches shouldn’t be underestimated. Yellow bathroom suite, clean, good shower, toilet a little loose :S A small tub of shampoo, conditioner, and soap as a gesture. Towels are the usual miniscule ones found in most hotels, good for wrapping up your hair, if your a lady, but that’s...More
