We chanced upon the Bridge Inn as we explored the Cotswolds.
It looked well patronised by locals but we were shown to a nice table for four near the entrance.
Between us we picked from the set lunch menu and had the duck, fish and meat dishes. I also opted for the Eton Mess for dessert.
All four diners agreed that we had just had one of there best meals of the holiday so far.
Being from Malaysia, we were curious to note that a popular Malaysian dish was on the menu - Malaysian prawn laksa. When we asked about it, the lady replied that, the chef, James liked trying out different things and that feedback had been good so far. Based on the quality of our meal, we had no reason to doubt her. Just a shame we didn't get to try it - maybe on our next holiday to the UK!.
