“A Great Morning Ride”
Reviewed 5 February 2014

We had a great ride. The horses were matched to us in temperament and size and the whole experience was professionally managed.
Our guide, Leonie was friendly and made the 2hour ride fun.
Even though we lacked experience and confidence the trek was made thoroughly enjoyable by both our expert guide and lovely horses. We even had a couple of canters.
The magical scenery a real bonus.
Leonie even took photos for us and emailed them.

The whole experience was great from the choice of Horses to the well organised team of girls running the trekking, I have been with my two daughters now both with Briars and would recommend their Horse trek to any and all.
Thanks again team.
Bella and Dave.

“a wonderful experience”
Reviewed 29 January 2014

We did our first family horse riding with Briar's team on the Auckland Anniversary weekend, and it was a fantastic experience. Weather wasn't too nice but it didn't matter as the staff gave us a warm welcome. The horses were really really good and soon I fell in love with them. It was our daughter's first time, and she was really scared at first but was so much relaxed after riding for a short while and she loved the friendly horses as well.
The view was nice and the environment was just so peaceful. We also saw a couple of wild rabbits in the forest. The horses were behaving themselves all the way and was following the guide. I didn't actually need to give instructions myself. Again, the staff seemed very experienced and were very friendly.
Would definitely recommend it!

“Fantastic!!!”
Reviewed 27 January 2014

Awesome horses - Briar and her team are relaxed and friendly and offer an excellent service. Especially to a trio of city slicker novices like us who were a little nervous to say the least. The trek was just right, horses beautifully behaved and the setting lovely. Would love to go again!!

“Fabulous family fun!”
Reviewed 27 January 2014 via mobile

Two adults, two kids. Two of us had experience two of us had absolutely none. Beautifully well mannered horses/ponies suitable for all levels. We did the 90 min trek and had loads of fun! Opportunity for our group to split so that my daughter and I could go faster than the two inexperienced riders. Amazing views of the kaituna river. The guides were talkative and friendly. Felt very at ease with them and impressed with their professionalism. Highly recommend to riders or first timers :)
