Set in hidden nook away from the "main road", in the middle of an Apple Orchard; these cabins/rooms are an excellent getaway. The rooms are tastefully done up, modern and traditional at the same time. The bathrooms are as big as some hotel rooms, and done up quite well. Teh view is to die for, the staff is courteous, helpful, and attentive. The food is great and you can tell the owners have built this place with love.

will go back. definitely.

Pros
Awesome location & view from the rooms
Service is excellent
Food is good

Cons
Price was just a touch over.
Breakfast was excellent, but thought that the dinner could've been a bit more better (not that it was bad or anything. It was good but could've been better)

We went there as group of 5 people in the Last weekend of May 2014. We were amazed by the cottage itself. It felt as if you are amidst of mountains with nothing but this resort. We took a cottage as it was the same price as taking two rooms. The cottage itself was great and the view was breathtaking. The whole place is built in the form of big huts, and greenery all around. The bathroom floor is made of stone tiles which was a different experience altogether. They arrange the bonfire, and you can re-fill the wood any number of times you want. We spent almost entire night around the bonfire drinking beer. :D
I don't think there is any other resort that can beat this one in terms of the scenic location and hospitality. Awesome Experience. Would definitely recommend anyone who is wishing to take a break out of the busy hectic life.
But you gotta watch for spiders on the walls in the night. Also note that if you are going by cab hire, there is an extra cost for driver's stay as well.

Room Tip: Go for the cottage. Its totally worth if you are going as a group

Travelled in the last week of March, and the experience was really great. It was yearly family outing to the great Himalayas. Beautiful property at a very high altitude, secluded and very well maintained. The cottages are upscale and have good and simple decor. The rooms that we stayed were quite big with full glass panels overlooking the valley. We had almost 360degrees view from the property. We had the complete property for ourselves as there were no other guests during the time we visited.
Caretaker Rakesh took good care of us, showed us around. Food is really good and everyone enjoyed. The local apple jams and apple juices are superb and one must try. We also had bonfire and the experience was just amazing.
Very relaxing and peaceful place. Thanks Gaurav and family for renting it out to us we really had a good time.

I travelled to This resort with my husband and my son . The experience was out of the world . I'd heard about their amazing service and hospitality as my cousin visited it last year .Great rooms , nice decor , lovely and breath taking view , amazing tracks ,fantastic ambience, nature walks and tasty food .Our stay was made extra special by the staff .The food was delicious and catered to our needs .Excellent cool weather during summer and surrounding apple orcahrd makes it a perfect place for a vacation .We did not feel the need to step out of the resort for the 4 days we were there .Execllent food made by Chef Dhyan Chand Ji . The hospitality and warmth of the staff and the very welcoming nature of the owners is reason enough to go back to this property .Will visit it again in Sept 2013 .
Very strongly recommended to fellow travellers !!! Book as much in advance as you can . We didn't get to stay as many days as we wanted to beacuse the property was all booked on the last 3 days of our vacation .

We stayed here just for 1 night and here is the experience:
On the first look, the resort seemed to offer a very good experience.
When I opened the doors of the cottage, I smiled and was pretty happy with the room that we would be staying in.
It was quiet spacious and very neatly maintained, with all basic amenities. It has a good balcony with the valley view.

As the day passed, we spent the evening exploring the resort.
It has 4 big cottages, 6 small , dining area and common room.
Whole of the area is well maintained, including the apple orchards.

Stay wise, it is a good place, however, when it came to meals, we were very much disappointed. They did not offer any room service, so we missed eat-out in our balcony.
The food itself wasn’t that sumptuous. Dinner did not have had any variety as compared to the bucks that they charged.

Another thing that we wished was to have a phone in the room for the room service. Every time, we needed something, we had to stroll through the resort for somebody available to help.

Overall, an average experience if you have already stayed at such similar home cottages.

Room Tip: Choose from the big cottages that they offer.

We were a group of three families with teenage kids and all of us had a super time here. We enjoyed the serene and pristine environment away from the hustle bustle of our daily lives in Gurgaon. Ended up reading a jeffery archer lying down in a hammock , playing cards with friends and of course to add to this peaceful luxury some wine and cherries.
Food was great and the service excellent. Thanks Gaurav and Varsha for your hospitality .... will surely come again.

Room Tip: The new rooms are spacious and have great views.
