Mount Pleasant cottage is in a small village just outside Bakewell. The rooms were well-furnished and well-kept; the superkingsize bed in the main bedroom was so comfortable! It was so quiet and peaceful at night, slept very well... really liked sitting out in the conservatory for meals. Lots of thoughtful touches eg board games and videos were provided and there is every possible piece of kitchen equipment you might need. Also a bottle of wine and chocolates to greet us. You can walk easily down to the river and into the nature reserve, where there are lots of interesting things to see like old mines. Only down point is that we had to leave early because of a work crisis! Would love to go again.
