The truth is that i 'd prefer to visit King's path some years ago when the passage was more brutal. But now the new wooden sticks that compose the floor, the stainless net ,the cameras that exist every where and the operators of them that observe your every movement and the removal of your helmet is a signal for them that something goes wrong or you dont feel good...all these safety makes you to walk very fast and to admire the landscape without worry if the broken 100 years old cement can support your weight .Even our tickets (without guide) were for 11.30 to enter ,we were tonthe entrance at 09.15 and 9.30 we just procceed directly to see the caminito.11.30 we were at the exit.Sticks for selfies do not allowed to be used.

We parked near Kioski restaurant and walked on a nice trail along the river for about 1/2 hour to arrive at the entrance/ticket collection place. At our time(10am), we were given hard hats, a very brief talk and sent on our way. The time of day was great as it was not too hot and not always in the sun. The boardwalk was very very strong and sturdy. We never felt shaky or loose boards. The railing was tight and secure. It was scary just to peer over the edge and see the depth but it was not scary because you felt unsafe. There is a nice middle section on a dirt trail before joining again the boardwalk. You can see the old dangerous path right beneath the boards and that makes you appreciate the fantastic renovations. The final bridge is also scary because you can see right through it but not wobbly, and strong tight cables hold it firm. The walk is over before you expect it. We boarded a bus back to the Kioski restaurant. 1/2 hour walk before and after the boardwalk, 1 1/2 hour on the caminito, stopping to take photos and normal pace. Well worth it!
