“Brilliant!!!”
Reviewed 15 July 2015 for a stay in July 2015

Our friends recommended us to stay at Casita Naranja and there were so right and we had an amazing time.

Simon and Kinga were fantastic hosts where nothing was too much trouble, they even brought some toys and DVD's over for our children to keep them occupied.
The Casita itself was in excellent condition with very good size rooms and the kitchen had all the required items. It is also very private to the main house
The location was perfect for us out of town and all that noise but less than 10 minutes drive to get anywhere and a fantastic rustic restaurant only 5 minutes away which Kinga recommended was divine and the best steak I've had in a while and less than 10 euros!!

We had managed to book ourselves on to the Caminito del Rey prior to coming out but have since been told locals can normally get tickets if needed and its is defiantly worth doing it the views are spectacular and a real experience to walk one of these wonders - even better the Casita was a very short drive away so we could race back for a well deserved dip in the pool which was bliss!
Just beyond El Chorro is Ardales lakes where you have more fantastic restaurants and you are able to swim in the lakes, hire the usual pedalos and canoes and we spent many a day here as its much quite and in my opinion nicer than the beeches on the coast and very safe for the children to play in the lake
The front of the casita over looks the Orange Grove with mountain views of El Chorro further afield and to sit out there early evening with a good G&T with fresh lemons picked from the garden was bliss whilst the BBQ was cooking and then to relax and enjoy a good bottle of wine with the kids nicely tucked up in bed watching the shooting stars and enjoying the peace was perfect

I highly recommend the Casita and hosts and look forward to returning in the near future

We had an amazing stay at Casita Naranja, nothing was to much trouble for the owners of this property.

we arrived quite late and were welcomed with a nice warm log burner already going and lots of other little extras. when we awoke the sun was shining and our views of the Orange orchard in the grounds and El Chorro further afield were great taking. having the opportunity to pick some of the largest oranges we have ever seen was amazing to have for breakfast.

The Casita was perfectly located Alora town was less than 10 minutes, El Chorro and the lakes about 15 minutes and Malaga in just over 30!

we will defiantly return and do the Caminito del Rey which is due to open soon - the famous breath taking kings path high in the gorge which has claimed lives of amy climbers but is now safe and a tourist attraction and a must!!

Thank you Casita Naranja!!
