Just THE perfect B&B. Not only did we get an excellent room, the services and the atmosphere were just GRAND.

We had the room called Kingcombe with a truly nice view and a grand bed where you can get lost. We loved the peace and quiet of the surroundings. Breakfast was tasty and plenty and served with real personal attention. Nice fresh home baked bread!

The beautiful Japanese (geisha?) doll in the guest lounge, the dining room...

Recommended for a nice comfortable stay in the Cotswolds. No hidden setbacks, no dissatisfiers. Is there a five-star award for a B&B? They deserve it!

Slightly concerned on arrival by the proximity of the road but turned out to have almost no passing traffic. Welcomed by the lovely Sue and shown to a spacious and completely unblemished ground floor room with enormous, very comfortable bed and immaculate shower room. Not a sound was heard by this very light sleeper in the course of the night. The freshly cooked full English was as good as it gets. The only thing that was a notch below perfection was that the ground floor room overlooking the car park was a little like being in a goldfish bowl. OK for one night but when we return for a longer stay we will ask for an upstairs room.

Thank you very much for your review. That’s very kind of you. We have taken your feedback on board and ordered some voile curtains for that room as it looks out over the lawn.

We received a lovely welcome from Sue and shown to our spacious room in the older part of the house. Every room is different, ours was "The Long Lawn" and we would certainly ask for that one again. We stayed 3 nights. No hot breakfast buffet here, all individually cooked by Gareth with "home grown" eggs, hen or duck, and home made fresh bread. I particlarly liked the smoked salmon option. The "honesty bar" was well stocked with a variety of drinks, there was a library of books and DVDs both of which could be enjoyed in the room. Yes, there was a DVD player in our room. The attention to detail was amazing from the well stocked tea tray in the room to the fridge for our use in the corridoor containing fresh milk for our tea; and the box nearby with forgotten essentials (razors, sewing kit etc).
Lowerfield Farm is ideally located to visit this part of the Cotswolds, we spent a day at Hidcote Manor Gardens - beautiful, and a day at Snowshill - fascinating. Will certainly return to Lowerfield as we have so much more to see in this delightful area.

First class Guest House

The owners Sue and Gareth were very friendly, attentive, professional and were glad to provide local advice. Lowerfield Farm had a pleasant relaxed atmosphere with a great dining room and nice large guest sitting room.

There were three of us sharing a large very comfortable room. Beds and pillows were all first class and decor was nice.

Breakfast was amazing, with a lovely menu in addition to the normal full English breakfast - which was also tremendous.

The guest house is a 1 mile walk to a pretty local village which has a couple of pubs / restaurants.

Lots of nice little towns and villages in the area. would recommend taking in some walks to see some of the beautiful country side.

I would gladly recommend to my friends and family

We have just spent a week at this idyllic B @ B and we were met by Sue who made us very welcome.
The room was large and comfortable, spotless and looked out over the surrounding hills.
Over the years we have stayed at various B @ B but no breakfast has ever come up to Gareths full english.
We found Gareth and Sue very accommodating who never minded putting themselves out for our benefit.

WE WILL BE BACK.

Room Tip: try a front room and admire the views
