We caught sight of this place during an evening walk along the Point Vernon coastline. Tucked away in Gatakers Bay, it looked exotic and inviting. We returned for lunch the next day. It didn't disappoint as a quiet location on a hot day. The overall atmosphere is country Queensland mixed with Bali. The deck overlooking the Bay was comfortably occupied by a mix of Hervey Bay locals and tourists, enjoying the ambience and shade. The service was friendly but casual: not a place if you are in a hurry. The menu is modern Asian with a Thai leaning, and once it arrived, the food was worth waiting for. We enjoyed our cool drinks and were happy to while away the afternoon. Pleasant and low key, its an ideal choice if you would like to experience the quiet end of Hervey Bay.
