Wow.One of those special places you find and you’re not sure whether to spread the news how wonderful it is or keep it to yourself!!
So it was a pretty hot day just waiting for a thunderstorm to burst( later in day) when we arrived at this gorgeous vineyard and welcoming host and hostess. The newish owners are the sort of people who should be in the hospitality business as they really make you feel relaxed and happy.
The deck was about 10 degrees cooler than outside and offered a very pleasant outlook. The breeze was lovely.
Thoroughly recommend the wine tasting which was informative and fun.
The ploughmans platters and buffalo wings were perfect for laid back grazing and chatting. Really yummy.
The wines were surprisingly nice , very refreshing and tantalising for the tastebuds.
It was hard to pull yourself away from Dingo Creek -except for the seating which was a little uncomfortable on old backs and bums. Young ones wouldn’t notice!!
We will DEFINITELY be back bringing our friends and relatives who come up to stay in the Noosa Hinterland .
Thankyou so much for a lovely experience. Don’t tell too many people - we don’t want it crowded!!!
Open on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays but it’s worthwhile giving them a call first especially if you’re in a group.

Myself hubby found this gem
of a vineyard, that does wine tasting, they have a lovely rustic bar and eating area in a beautiful setting..
we were greeted with such a warm welcome by all the family members who own and work there. The cellar door has only been opened recently by the new owners Doug and Michelle.
The wine tasting is really good value for money Doug asked us about our presences in wine and he didn’t disappoint in the wines he suggested us to try, we had five different tastings for 12 dollars each, we liked the wines that much we left with 6 bottles.
After the tasting we sat on the lovely deck over looking the lake for a bite to eat.
They had a good menu to complement the wines, they had just started doing sliders which we had they were delicious and definitely worth a try..
we spent a lovely couple of hours relaxing and chatting on the deck, we even got to feed the horses in the field and just kick back and watch chickens wander about about, they offer a personal and friendly service we could have sat here all day was made to
feel at home
I would recommend a visit here whether it’s just couples, group of friends or even a family. Kids would love this setting.
We will definitely be visiting again on our next visit over here, and looking forward to see how the family progress in making this a beautiful and special place..
We have visited vineyards in California, and New Zealand, and can honestly say this is one of our favourite you are treated like one of the family.
Dingo creek vineyard is also on Facebook, I messaged them to book the wine tasting on there, I was very impressed with the prompt reply to my messages..

Lovely little spot, in a very Australian type building. Good range of wines. For the cost of $3.00 you can partake in wine tasting, if any are to your liking and you buy some, they give you the $3.00 back. Very nice wines in a beautiful setting. You can also have lunch/afternoon tea out on a lovely deck with wonderful views. Well worth the stop.

From the moment we arrived, we felt like we had been welcomed by a relative we hadn't seen in a while who was so happy to have us over for Sunday lunch. Meanwhile, it was just Marg meeting us for the first time.
Although the menu wasn't as extensive as you would get at some fancy restaurant, everything was SO delicious. There must've been a few locals dining with us on this particular occasion which is always a great sign, and the atmosphere was quite pleasant with conversations starting up all across the wooden deck overlooking the winery, which is also the dining area.
If you're heading up to Noosa this summer and happen to be passing through around lunch time, it is well worth the short detour off the Bruce Hwy for a home cooked meal, prepared with so much love.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience, it is greatly appreciated. Our aim is to welcome all visitors to our boutique winery and cafe as if they are our friends, even if we have only just met. One of the great pleasures of the tourism industry is the wonderful people you meet, thank you for visiting us.

As a local in the Noosa shire a Sunday drive into the hinterland can be very rewarding. After visiting the Eumundi Markets continue driving north through the town of Cooroy, Pomona and Cooran until you reach a sign directing you to the Dingo Creek Vineyard. Upon entering the property under the railway line either side of the dirt road is lined with grapevines. The cellar door is a quaint timber bulding with a verandah and a huge covered deck overlooking Mt Cooroora and the surrounding countryside - a stunning outlook. On arrival the wines are offered for tasting - they were surprisingly of a high standard for such a small boutique winery. Also the owners run a cafe from the winery and offer a homemade menu with indigenous influence - bunya nut & coconut muffins with wild lime syrup, ploughmans plate with kangaroo sausage & damper, and the best scones with jam and fresh cream I have ever tasted. It was very refreshing to relax in such an unpretentious environment and experience something quite unique. The Dingo Creek Jazz & Blues Festival is held here during March.
