Description: The restaurant is located at 1500m. in the heart of the Natural Park of Huetor Santillan, Prado Negro, 25 minutes from Granada. We serve diverse grilled meats with a wine cellar of more than fifty wines from all over Spain and many wines from Granada. All our products - olive oil, cheese, lamb, vegetables and hams - are D.O. GRANADA because it means the highest quality and exquisite flavor.

Not an easy place to find accidentally as it is hidden in very small village between mountains. Expect some some 15 km driving from highway and some rather tricky curves. With only 20 permanent inhabitants village still have 2 places to gather, eat and feast. We were advised to go to one of them - Taberna Prado Negro. We did as advised - and we didnt regret doing so. We were welcomed, explained what is best to try. And had our wishes listened. Food was well made and reasonably priced. Vine that we were suggested was really good. ( And I'm not vine lover).
Also note - there is wondetfull waterfall just 15 minutes walk from here.
If you happen to be around give it a try.

First class, traditional Spanish food and wine. A bit of the beaten track, but well worth the effort. Set in a stunning national park, with really friendly staff, this place was one of the highlights of our trip. Loads of local specialities including Iberian Secret, a local mushroom dish, and some stunning wines. Reasonably priced too.

We had no expectations when we entered this place, but were overwhelmed by the atmosphere, service, wines and food. Many different Spanish wines, especially reds, nice selection of Iberico ham and cheese. Kind and helpful waiter. It's possible to eat outside and inside - upstairs and in the bar. (I would recommend hanging out in the bar.)
