The Old Fire Station
Ranked #4 of 9 St Just B&B and Inns
Reviewed 2 September 2014

We have just spent three nights in what can only be described as the most relaxing and enjoyable little B&B. Nothing was too much for Lis and Angus, the breakfast was full of choice and the rooms spotless and full of all sorts thoughtful items. We will certainly be back soon.

Room Tip: Be aware that some of the rooms have low ceilings!

We have just left our stay with Lis& Angus at this amazing B&B, it was so cute, very very clean, anything you needed was there,. Lis and Angus have thought of everything to make your stay very memorable. The Breakfast was so yummy and detail is perfect . These two beautiful people just love what they do. Hope I have the opportunity to go back one day.

The warmest, most genuine loving couple run this B&B. They're extremely welcoming, helpful and professional. Not only are the rooms modern, efficient and cosy but they're the cleanest B&B rooms I have EVER seen, I felt beyond safe and happy there. Within walking distance to the stunning Cape Cornall and only a short drive from St Ives, Penzance, Porthcurno and Sennen. Lis and Angus, the owners, were more than happy to give me all the information I needed, about where to visit, where to eat and where else to stay for the rest of my trip. Now their home includes a beautiful new extension of a garden, so I could eat breakfast outside in the sunshine, and listen to the swallows in the morning. Speaking of breakfast, fresh, well prepared and full of variety, I could of been having croissants in Paris! Will definitely be coming again, and again!

Room Tip: If you're tall, better go for the ground floor!

we intened to stay just the one night but our hosts were so welcoming and friendly we extened our stay. The breakfasts were to die for, continental vice full cornish but better for it. This was our first trip to this part of cornwall and we'll definately be back and use this as our base again. Can't fault it. Hosts also provided maps and local knowlledge which really made our stay. Thank you so much.

£75 double ensuite. Small room but beautiful, modern, recently refurbished. Delicious breakfast, much nicer than a greasy cooked one. Lis and Angus are really friendly and helpful. Don't eat at the Commercial Pub - the food was disgusting and I was sick afterwards. You must visit the Geever Tin Mine - it was fascinating.

Room Tip: Downstairs is slightly more spacious

My husband and I stayed for 4 nights at this lovely B&B.

We stayed on the ground floor room, which was very comfortable (though slightly on the smallish side for my 6'3" husband - but otherwise great). The room was light ,airy, clean and pleasant.

The bed was very comfortable, and we had a good night's sleep every night. There was also adequate storage space for our clothes and things.

What I looked forward to most were the breakfasts. The fruit was perfectly ripe and bursting with flavour. The cereals were delicious as were the breads, croissants, jams, cheeses, pickles, potato salad, juices etc. Everything was delicious and plentiful.

Liz and Angus were great hosts. They were helpful and friendly and lovely to chat with.

I was definitely impressed and hope to be able to stay there again in the future.
