“Yet another great break”
Reviewed 24 November 2012

This is our second stay and yet again a wonderful guest house break in far west of Cornwall .Corinne and Alan very welcoming. Breakfast yet again fantastic and nothing too much trouble. Lovely to come back from a walk along the coastal path and be able to sit in the large sitting room by the wood burner, read the papers and just relax.
Home made biscuits excellent. Please could Alan have his homemade apricot jam for sale!

Room Tip: Room with four poster bed gives great views across the fields to the sea.

What a warm welcome by Corinne & Allan ! Enjoyed a wonderful Cornish holiday - a beautiful room with delicious home cooking & suggestions of what to do, where to walk & personalised
maps to make it all happen.
The perfect place to stay on the North Cornwall coast. Great for walking & bird watching.
We found the best Cornish pasties ever in a small family run cafe near The Lizard.
Our last visit was in July/August 2010 & we plan to stay again in April 2013.

Room Tip: BOOK EARLY as visitors love staying here & there is a regular clientelle booking from one year t...

Just a few miles along the North Cornwall coast from Lands End, this is a pleasant B&B 1.5 miles from St. Just. We turned up on the off-chance and stayed in a room in the annex at the back. The room was spacious and the hosts very friendly and knowledgable about the surrounding area.

We spent four nights in the annex to the B&B in a very comfortable en-suite room with a firm queen-size bed. Breakfast was very tasty with mains cooked to order and Alan's homemade jams on the buffet. Corinne was very helpful with directions and suggestions on places to go to eat, to listen to music and to explore. We had a lovely cream tea in the front garden one afternoon, again with Alan's superb spreads. We were unable to get wifi in the annex due to the thickness of the granite walls, but it was available with a good connection in the guest lounge. A highlight of our time in St. Just was hearing the Fiddley Dees, a local Irish music group with players of many ages, on Monday evening at the Star Inn in St. Just. Thanks, Corinne, for this tip!

One night stay whilst walking the south west coast path. Arrived drenched! the hosts were extremely helpful takings our wet clothes and boots away to be dried then provided fresh milk for some hot tea rather than the uht stuff. We had a room with a four poster bed, very comfortable, set in a spacious room. The ensuite shower and bathroom were clean. The hosts were a bit rushed as they were heading out with another guest to a Cornish version of "The last night of the proms" with another Austrian guest but they manged all our needs especially a snifter from the honesty bar.
