Have been before and will come again soon! Fabulous time of year to go to Center Parcs. the autumn colours are amazing! Such a great place to relax, we really enjoyed ourselves. All the facilities are excellent, although it can be very costly to eat out all the time. The accommodation is very good indeed and everywhere is very clean and tidy. The new water park facility for little people is excellent, very safe and well designed.

This is my fourth time at centre parcs had a lovely time , we stayed in one of the two storey houses
Could not fault it, enjoyed the 5 days we were there and will be going back again. The fireworks are the best I have ever seen, and the Christmas lights etc were great, see you again soon .

We had a wonderful Winter Wonderland mid-week break last week at Elveden CP. We stayed in the Honeymoon Suite (room 25) in the Lakeview Hotel and would highly recommend this room, especially as you get a complimentary bottle of champagne chilled on arrival! The rooms also bigger then the 'normal' hotel rooms and has a separate lounge and an enormous round jacuzzi bath in the bathroom.
The winter wonderland decorations were lovely around the whole of CP and the fireworks display on Wednesday evening was great...especially Father Christmas' arrival at the end!
Activities were cheaper when booked during the week at a booking point then if we booked them before arriving...this wasn't promoted though, so it's worth asking at the booking points how much activities currently are.
The Aqua Sana Spa was as relaxing as always...we loved the couples massage.
I loved the exercise classes I did...yoga, legs/bums/tums and lavender relaxation...great instructors and I'll definitely book more exercise classes the next time we go. I also loved the Aerial Adventure Tree Treking...ending in the vertical drop! Hubby loved the archery classes.
Also, if you go you really MUST have a Jam Jar Cocktail or two in Hucks!
We'll absolutely be back in 2014

Room Tip: Honeymoon Suites, room 25, is the best in the hotel

As a family we have been to Center Parcs over 20 years with our children and have loved every visit. We returned to Elveden after an absence of 10 years with a baby granddaughter and were not disappointed. The woodland lodge was comfortable and well equipped and about 15 minutes by foot from the main square with all its restaurants, shops, pool etc. The whole place was beautifully decorated for Christmas and felt very festive. Each property was adorned with a Christmas wreath on the front door which was a lovely touch. The fireworks display was very impressive and enjoyed by people of all ages.
Our last two visits have been to Longleat which is very pretty but the pool and rapids were very cold so we were delighted that at Elveden the water temperatures were much more pleasant and we could enjoy the rapids etc several times. We ate at Hucks and the food was good and well presented.
Congratulations to all concerned at Elveden! A wonderful start to our Christmas 2013 and we will definitely be back very soon!

Recently stayed at elveden in a woodland lodge in the pines area. We had a lovely time and enjoyed the pool although we did notice the pool was warmer in the mornings than in the afternoons, one other thing to note is the changing rooms can be very busy and often not enough family changing rooms available. We did use the dryers in the changing rooms which are a £1 and well worth it as they do really dry you off and really useful with a little one as it dried him completely making it much easier to dress him on a confined space!!!
Pre booked bowling. Santa and the 12 days of Christmas treasure trail - bowling was great, Santa was very engaging even with a really young little one. Unfortunately we could not do the treasure trail as the weather was not good.
Fireworks were probably the best I've ever seen in the uk and a real surprise as we weren't expecting them to be as good!!
Winter wonderland lights were excellent from the moment you arrive with plenty of little "scenes" to discover around the parc my only suggestion would be perhaps to continue the theme inside more as there was very little sign of Christmas indoors!!!
All in all a great stay and on our last night we booked again for next year!!!

This was our 5th visit to centre parcs and we were a little disappointed. We stayed in a games room villa in ash. The villa was wonderful and very clean. In a quiet area with lots of wildlife. We were close to the village square and the foresters inn.
Normally the parc market is very reasonably priced but the prices of the alcohol this time seemed to have increased, so much so that we drove out to Tesco's 10 minutes away to stock up. The new swimming paradise is fantastic and the kids really enjoyed it. The restaurants seem to be more expensive than our previous visits. We ate in the sports bar which used to be a cheapish option, but not any more. We spent £40 on cokes and snacks and had to wait nearly an hour. The sports bar had a very funny smell and we didn't go back there again.
We were extremely disappointed with the Foresters Inn, which has always been our favourite. The menu is tiny which we understand why after waiting ages for food when the restaurant wasn't even half full. The kitchen obviously cannot cope at the moment. We were there so long my youngest fell asleep at the table before dessert had even arrived. Not one of our party of 7 was happy with dessert. All the custards were cold but we had been there for so long we just wanted to leave.
Me and my husband visited the spa for an evening. It was our first time and we were surprised how busy it was in there. As it gets busier obviously it gets louder and louder in there and we didn't find it too relaxing and actually left after 2 and a half hours.
The park surroundings were very clean and we enjoy having a nice relaxing walk around (just wish the cyclists would respect pedestrians a little more)

This was our second visit to winter wonderland and our fourth visit within two years. We generally spend the winter wonderland trip with parents too and twin sons, ages almost 3.
Last year we stayed in a 4 bed executive with games room and booked the same for this year too. Very sadly my dad passed away and we felt it would just be too much to return to the same villa albeit next door to last year so upgraded to a new style exclusive with hot tub, which was definitely worth the extra. Lots more space and better lay out I felt. Hot tub, amazing! (Water is monitored with a health check 3/5 times a day and drained and cleaned on departure day.)Was so nice to be able to hop straight out of sauna, into the hot tub and back into the sauna afterwards. Didn't use the steam room.

Games room as I said was much bigger, pool table, board games and a xbox and kinect (console is there but have to pay a deposit for controllers and games in hotel)

Elveden staff were fantastic (apart from one, which I'll come back to) I phoned our morning of arrival to see if I could borrow some extra stair gates for kitchen, hall and games room which meant I didn't have to bring ours, fantastic!
3 of us came down with tummy bugs whilst there (Which we brought with us as my little boy started within 5 mins of entering villa!) staff were great when we asked for extra towels, bedding etc, asking how we were every day and Jo from medical centre was lovely.

We did a few things, just disappointing we didn't get to do one thing all together, but not CPs fault. The boys got to visit Father Christmas, worth every penny, eps as this year we got 2 diff pics as we just got two of the same last year. Bowling everyone loved, I felt this was really good value, £18 for a hour. Table tennis was good fun.. The fireworks were outstanding.

Meals...we hardly ate out because of being stuck in from illness. But hucks was really nice again, although one more tortilla with the fajitas would make it perfect! Lovely cocktails!
Sports bar, I'd get why you'd maybe have a bit of lunch there but that's it. Parents went to forresters, menu seems to have halved... Fish and chips was lovely apparently and lasagne not so! Brilliant play area for little ones here.

No swimming as too ill and would be unfair just incase we were still infectious. But we did go in hot tub once we were each 48hrs clear, think this was the one saving grace!

Only two issues was the double bedroom downstairs, there was a leak somewhere so down the side of the bed on the carpet was soaked, not very good and had to be reported twice to be looked at and wasn't told a resolution either way. My husband was ill in bed when he called around but no note left or anything.

Oh there is a much needed addition to the playground for little ones, Elveden now feels complete!

Lastly.. One of our keys didn't work which wasn't a huge issue but I thought I'd drop them off to arrivals lodge when we left to actually tell someone rather than the next people suffer the same problem, the member of staff I encountered was really rude and abrupt with me, older chap with white hair and after this happening, all the illness, lack of sleep and general disappointment I left in tears, not the best end to a holiday.
