“Peace & Quiet”

The “house with the blue door” is located in a peaceful and quiet spot in a typical French village of Mailhac sur Benaize, which is only a 5 minute drive from Saint Sulpice-les Feuilles where you can pick up all the necessary provisions. The gite is compact, comfortable well equipped and good value for money. The garden backs onto lovely open countryside, a place where one can relax and let the world go by.
The Gite owners Linda & Sam are incredibly helpful, welcoming and kind, we cannot compliment them enough on their hospitality and friendliness. We have rented the cottage for six months with the intention of finding and purchasing a house in the Limousin. The cottage location is ideal for this purpose as it is close (15 minutes) to the A20 auto route and is within easy reach of some lovely villages via country roads when we feel the need to be “holiday makers”. The free Wi-Fi broadband internet service available to us has been essential in our house search. Our hosts Linda & Sam have been invaluable with regard to easing us into the French way of life and negotiating our passage into the French bureaucratic system.
I would recommend a stay at Limousin Cottage to anybody in need of peace and relaxation.
