The variety is great, and the food is always good quality and good value. Service is timely and you don't get frustrated waiting for your meal.

“Not great, not terrible.”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 31 May 2014 via mobile

This place is not so bad, the prices are a little too much considering its a pub in Western Sydney heart land. The food is reasonable and the service is nothing special. Good if you want an easy family get together as there is plenty of parking and tables can be reserved easy

“EXCELLENT”

A family visit for dinner, huge servings with quick and friendly service, very reasonably priced. Where can you get five gorgeous meals for $ 80.00.??????

“Very Efficient Service”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 6 May 2014

This is a massive dining area that is well maintained by the efficient staff. Ordering is quick and painless, don't forget your table number though. All the food we tried was very good, not amazing but still good and prices were reasonable.

“Only if you have to.”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 19 April 2014

My wife and I dined here for the second time in a few weeks just to give them a fair go as we are locals. The first time I ordered Beef spare ribs and my wife ordered a roast of the day, ( She says they can't mess that up). The ribs were delivered to the table, along with what seemed to be at least day old garlic bread, the three ribs on top were tender and succulent with an over supply of chips and a "bucket" of sauce, but the four ribs hidden underneath were over cooked and so dry that they could have been cooked the day before and re-heated, NOT nice. On our latest visit, my wife again chose carefully and took the roast, while I had the Malaysian curried lamb. Did I say "lamb"? It was tough enough to be sheep and it came with so much rice and so little sauce it made for a very disappointing meal AGAIN..
We then made our way to the Stardust Café for coffee, if you come here give this place a wide berth also, unless you like your coffee just, and I DO mean just, warm. It was accompanied by a Macadamia tart, which was in reality a caramel tart with a couple of nuts sprinkled on top.
If you come to Rooty Hill I suggest the Lone Pine tavern first for a meal and then on to the R.S.L. for entertainment.
