“Fish over Cook and waiting too long”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 9 November 2013

We arrived at the vineyard after 12.00 pm on Saturday for lunch. Two large tables were close by to us and I asked staff if they could move our table a little bit away from the these groups before they arrived. I was told that unfortunately they were fully booked and could not move us although at this time these tables were still empty. Anyway, we ordered our meal starting with the daily special tasting plate and for my main I ordered crispy skin snapper fillet. The tasting plate arrived and that was alright but after we finished the entree we were kept waiting for our main for nearly an hour so we had to order another glass of wine. My fish was a small piece of snapper, very dry and over cooked and was quite tasteless. My glass of pinot noir from the vineyard was light and short of flavour. It was all a very disappointing experience and our bill was $142 dollars just for 2 people.
