A lovely park with lots to see....and plenty of visitors. There is safety in numbers. Flora and fauna of Tabasco are all there. Lots of shade to keep things a tad cooler. Street artists, water and popcorn, local treats and souvenirs.

Thank Rebecca P

We didn't get a chance to go because it is under rehab but even the taxi driver didn't know! Very poor info from the taxi drivers! They told us it was closed since march until december 2013 utill we arrived to the box office! :(

a very lovey way to spend a morning or afternoon, the park also houses a small zoo of animals native to Tabasco, which is great in the jungle setting of the park. The Olmec stone pieces are fascinating.

What a wonderful interactive and educational museum/zoo park. We spent the day watching the animals of mexico, and learning about the Olmec culture and those huge head sculptures. There is a lot to see here and all of the exhibits are in English as well. This place is truly amazing. In addition to the wonderful bird house and reptile exhibit, there is a small pond area that had one of the largest crocodiles I have ever seen in my life. Well worth the visit.

Stupid mexican administration.
The museum is closed for four months!!! Event on the entrance door of the park it is not said "cerado'. Nothing in any web site of mexico!!
We came from france to visit the museum and the olmec sites; What a waist of money and time.
The same occurs two days ago for the museum of antropology of Merida. Closed; Even the lady of the tourist office in the gobiernor house tell us, the evening before, that the museum is open. In Merida it is not know :
-if it will reopen
-where are the collections
-what is inside the new museum of maya culture.
Don't loose your energy and money go to visit france or any 'developped country.
