“Wunderbares Bed & Breakfast”
Reviewed 25 August 2013

By happy chance we got to know the Redway Farm on the Isle of Wight at the beginning of August.
We lived in a generous room with a lovely view of the marvelous waterlily pond and the garden.
The whole house is renovated lovingly and very clean.
In the morning, Linda spoiled us with the best English breakfast, that we ever had in England.
Linda and Roly are excellent hosts and fond of children with whom my husband, our daughter and I have well-felt very much.
Particularly the two cats, the dog and the happy chickens had done it to our daughter, we also got terrific tips of Linda and Roly for the island.
We can recommend the Redway Farm very much to everyone who plans a visit on the Isle of Wight!

Wow!! We stayed at Linda and Roli's lovely country escape in late July for three nights. We highly recommend it. Upon arrival, they were so welcoming and warm and the accommodation provided was clean, quiet, comfortable and spacious. They have full knowledge of the Island and could answer all questions and also provided some handy tips to us. With Redway Farm being located in the centre of the Island, it is easy to get to all places of interest. The only fault was that the stay was not long enough. Thanks for the great hospitality. Greg and Wendy

Country escapes don't come much more picturesque and welcoming than Linda and Roly's Redway Farm. Tea and delicious homemade cake in the farm kitchen was the perfect antidote to a tiring car journey, as were the beautiful, comfortable bedrooms and pretty surroundings.

Linda and Roly were the perfect hosts throughout our stay, offering helpful advice about the local area and serving up amazing banquet-like breakfasts with everything you could possibly wish for! Nothing was too much trouble, a bed was even moved in to a double room in the main house to accomodate our party.

The lovely garden at the back of the house was a delight to explore, especially when we found that it led straight out to walking tracks, bridleways and cyclepaths - plenty of options for walking off the spectacular breakfasts!

If you're looking for a peaceful country retreat with wonderfully warm hosts, get booking!

From the moment we arrived - with a hearty welcome - we knew this was a special place. A farm home this may be but the views and position are idyllic with enormous bedrooms in which to relax. Being in the centre of the Island, all parts are easily reached and the cycle/walking paths are close by. Linda's breakfasts are a wonderful start to the day and she is always prepared to go the extra mile to ensure your stay has been a great experience. A wonderful long weekend which will have to be repeated.

My fiance and I are so pleased we discovered Redway Farm on the Isle of Wight. The location is so beautiful, the house itself a very agreeable melting pot of luxury and good old down-to-earth homeliness. Linda and Rolly and their family are extremely welcoming, open and accommodating, and our room was so comfortable we never wanted to leave it! The bed was huge, while the breakfast was out of this world. All the little touches Linda has thought of, such as the toiletries in the bathroom or the extra cake to take with us on our way, are also what go towards making Redway Farm the perfect spot to base yourself in when visiting the island. We will definitely go back again!

Room Tip: Both rooms are fabulous - the bed in the Garden Room is bigger but the Manor Suite is at the more pr...

Just one of the best overnight stays we have been to on the island for many years. Our hosts Linda & Roly made us very welcome, from tea and fresh baked cakes on arrival to a view of their other accommodation by other members of the family.
Thank you Linda for a lovely stay and we will return.

Room Tip: Ask for the end room that overlooks the pond and distant hill.
