My partner and I drove to this little gem and discovered the true meaning of peace and tranquility. Situated amongst the trees and the picturesque surroundings of the great British countryside, the three horses inn is more than just a local pub. Norman and Janet welcome you with open arms, like family. The pub itself and the gardens is pure escapism. It felt like coming home, which is exactly what good hospitality is all about. We ate like kings that evening, feasted on the most wonderful and delicious array of locally sourced ingredients. Try the Brown bread ice cream, together with the damson ice cream, and you're in heaven. Breakfast the following morning was probably the best I've ever had. And if you do visit, you simply cannot leave without taking home with you, a jar of their home made marmalade.
The three horses in is not just a gem, but a little piece of heaven. It's no wonder that after just one overnight visit, we've both fallen in love with it all, and cannot wait to return and stay a little longer.
Thank you Janet and Norman for welcoming us into your beautiful home.
