Paradera Park is a little gem if you prefer staying in a quiet, beautiful setting of an apartment resort. The rooms (17) are meticulously clean (are cleaned daily) and very comfortable with Rattan sitting furniture, a nice large bathroom and a well equipped kitchen to make breakfast and simple meals. Each room has a small balcony or porch. Our room was on the second floor with a private balcony overlooking the beautiful and meticulously maintained garden with the swimming pool, lounge chairs and sitting areas under palm trees or round huts. The owners Henk and Debby are very friendly and very helpful to make your stay comfortable. They provide beach chairs and a cooler that you can take to the beaches during your stay. Everything is about a 10-min drive away (you need a rental car), except for Baby Beach and Rogers Beach on the south end of the island (about 25 min). I highly recommend Paradera Park if you want to stay off the beaten path (Palm Beach) that truly provides a tropical Carribean atmosphere in a quiet and beautiful settings where you can unwind and relax.

Once you visit Aruba you are left with a strong desire to go back, and most do. We had the same feeling of wanting to return after staying at Paradera Park, we had stayed at several places before finding this oasis in Aruba. Debbie and Henk have continued the work of Debbies parents and have created something that is quite special, a sense of being home.

This is my second review of Paradera Park, you can read the details in my first one and the countless other positive reviews on these apartments. Keep in mind you will need a car as it is literally in the middle of the island. Aruba is a small Island, you will be 15 mins from Eagle Beach, 10 mins from Oranjestadt and 10 mins from the Arikok National Park welcome centre. It is central to everything.

You will not see or hear the ocean, but you will feel at home. THANKS AGAIN Debbie and Henk.
See you next year.

Paradera Park is a small resort in the hills of Paradera. The owners Henk And Debby go the extra mile to make you feel comfortable and relaxed. The rooms and grounds are meticulously maintained. Check out the gallery on their website. Parking is a breeze right out front. Beach chairs and a good cooler are yours for the stay. Aruba has many spectacular beaches, a national park, casinos and restaurants. So get a rental car and go explore this "one happy island" and come "home" to Paradera Park every night.

Found this through the reviews on Tripadvisor...this place is great! It is in the middle of the island and a car is definitely needed..what you will find is a small, immaculately kept hotel with a pool area reminiscent of Hawaii. The owners are on site and hard at work always. There is pride of ownership here everywhere Our room had a bed, kitchen, balcony, bathroom and a small sitting area. Your are in the middle of a neighborhood so the experience is different from a beach resort. We stayed here for a few days before moving to our timeshare..what we saved on airfare paid for our days here. There is no food, coffee shop or bar on site so prepare by stopping at a grocery store. The laid back personality and thoughtfulness of owners and staff made this stop our new favorite before beach time! Owners are very pleasant and helpful without hovering that we have experienced elsewhere. They even provide cooler and beach chairs for your trips to the beach..only a ten minute drive. This is our new unwind gem. Thank you for a beautiful stay

My husband and I are just home from trip #3 to Aruba (2007, 2010, 2014). All three times we've stayed two weeks at Paradera Park Apartments. It's located in a residential area about 15 minutes from the beaches. We've stayed in a studio each visit, which offered us a private bath, seating area and a kitchenette (pictures on their web site accurately represent the features). We don't cook but we often fix toast/cereal/juice for breakfast and pack a cooler of snacks/beer or lunch on a beach. One of the wonderful things about staying here is the availability of free beach chairs, coolers, and beach towels. The exterior of the apartment is quite plain but step into the courtyard and you feel like you're in a tropical paradise filled with lounge areas, a small pool, and plants/flowers galore. The owners, Henk and Debby, are warm and genuine, and willing to provide you with directions, suggestions for activities, dinner options, shopping ideas, etc. There is daily maid service and we've always felt they kept things spotless (that being said, they aren't there to do your dishes) but we always have clean towels, spotlessly clean floors, and a nicely made bed.

Wi-fi is available free to all guests out in the courtyard area close to the pool or in your room for an extra fee.

If you're looking for an ocean front experience this will not be the hotel for you, but if you're looking for a small, cozy, and friendly place you may wish to check this out. You will need a rental car, but we've found this encourages us to get out and explore the whole island not just the beach in front of the hotel. We have loved the option of exploring all the beaches Aruba has to offer and having the freedom to come/go as we please without being dependent on taxis or buses. We try new restaurants each time we're on the island and being here during their busier season this year Debby graciously made many restaurant reservations on our behalf.

Room Tip: Studio rooms offer plenty of room for couples
