“Evening bbq”
Reviewed 4 January 2014 via mobile

The restaurant is situated at a perfect spot for nighttime dining. The food is authentic and tastefully prepared on the wood burning BBQ. Do not expect a fancy dinner- but good meet and a simple side order. We had a good time here.
Chardonnay wine is expensive (7$) compared to the good meat (10 to 16$) they serve.

“A fun time with a great view of the island!”
Reviewed 3 January 2014

We went with friends who had a car and had been before. They went for the Wednesday Jazz that wasn't (see earlier review) but thought it was worth showing us which it was. The barbecue was excellent as was the service. Our friend had a flashlight and brought us up the rocks to see the night view of the island. It was superb! Do Not try this without a good flashlight if you are there at night! We need to get back there during the day if nothing else but for the view. I think it would be a very nice place to have lunch as well. It is just really off the beaten path and you need to know where you are going to get there!

“No Live Jazz and Blues on Wednesday Night!”
Reviewed 20 December 2013

We drove into the center of Aruba to this Dutch grill restaurant because of their advertisement for 'Live Jazz and Blues' on Wednesday night, and an article claiming this as a place where local musicians hung out. Wrong. There was no live jazz or blues; there was a man with an apple computer playing soft instrumental musak. When we asked the lanky Dutch bartender about the 'live jazz' band that was meant to perform he said, after hesitation, that they were 'sick' and the dj was replacing them. We had a quick drink, were bored by his selection of music, and left, disappointed.

“Casibari woodfired BBQ, the best!”
Reviewed 17 December 2013

I had a great mixed grill bbq dinner tonight at Casibari! Very nice cajun chicken, perfectly grilled 'tender'loin and delicious ribs. A must order for the big eaters!
