Fabulous cottage pub with very comfortable and recently refurbished rooms. The bar is very cost and welcoming with its low beams and log fires. The selection of beverages is a plenty to keep most happy and to to it is the excellent and warm service from all staff.

We booked the function room for my mum's 80th and had about 30 guests. The staff could not have been more helpful before and on the day. The food was excellent with plenty of positive comments from the guests afterwards. Good choice of wines to go with the meal also. Service was excellent all round and we would definitely book again. Special mention has to go to Jayne and Nick, thank you so much.

Visited with friends, only frequented the pub area. Great selection of wines and good choices of pub food. The food was deliciously made, full of flavour. Reasonably priced, great with friends, family, couples. Enough parking. Throughly enjoyed the pub being in a quiet spot!

Several of us wanted a different location from our usual training hotels nearby - location is a lot more out of the way from what we are used too but what a find.. it's got a great little bar, the food is great.. nice gin's and a fabulous nights sleep.. and a 1st for many trips i even made breakfast which was fantastic..

Room tip: all rooms im sure are great..

Stayed at The Chequers Inn at Wooburn Common close to High Wycombe in September 2018 for a business meeting. The accommodation was arranged by the local business company and turned out to be an excellent choice.

The Chequers Inn scores high on three individual areas: An authentic English countryside pub, a very fine and modern hotel with newly refurbished rooms and an excellent restaurant.

The Chequers Inn is highly recommended. Next time we are going to visit our business partners in High Wycombe we will certainly stay at The Chequers Inn.

Room tip: A room on the first floor offers an excellent view of the local fields rich with wildlife
