Recommended by our B&B hosts, we tried this out. The building itself looks a bit like a 1960s cafe, and it is a parade of shops near the "chippy". But the food is astonishing. It's a kind of tapas service - you select the types of dish by main ingredient, and you get a series of delicious and very surprising combinations. Quite unlike anything we've had before, and really memorable. I suppose it's a bit like Heston Blumenthal, Kiwi style. The deconstructed (!!!) key-lime pie was incredible. Worth a trip to Cook's Beach, in our view
