We spent first week of July visiting the Loire area and the chateaux. Le Voriou was chosen via the internet as it was ideally situated for what we wanted to visit. We planned to stay for a week and had no special expectation other than a well-situated B&B. Carole and Ronny made us think different: Their friendly attitude, without any fuss, open and genuinly interested in the well-being of their guests really made us feel instantly at home. Although we initially thought that a week might be long for such a location, the atmosphere was such that we never felt it was "time to go". Although Belgian, theu know about the region and had great and up-to-date information. Last but not least: "table d'hôtes" (diner) is an option. My recommendation: do not miss it. The meals were excellent, made with local products and accompanied with local wine. Only downside: I gained a few kilo's... And when you leave and pay, you realize what excellent value you got for your money!
