Half an hour from all things Lego is this little cultural gem where you can learn all about Harald the Bluetooth and more. The centre is extremely hands-on so kids love it. Lovely cafe. Super friendly staff. Best of all entrance is completely free. Kids and adults thoroughly enjoyed it. Highly recommend.

The absolute highlight of Danish history. The founding of the kingdom and Vikings meeting christianity. New and modern (and free) museum, the old Church, the two burial mounds and the two Runic Stones. Don’t miss the explanation in the museum of the Royal family tree (pedigree) from Gorm the Old to Queen Margrethe - a story of power and struggle in a straight line.

This is the place to visit if you are in to vikings. Fantastic museum that shows how vikings lived, and with real gold treasures. Thre are also 2 giant stones outside the church filled with runes, one for the king that reigned at that time, and a smaller one for his queen.

Jelling is a small town with an interesting story about the well known Bluetooth, who was more than a connection tool as he was a king many years ago.

The church is impressive through its simplicity. The design of the tombs was astonishing. We realized that they had designers specialized on this, as we met one in the graveyard.

The park surrounding the church has a nice story and enough space for a nice walk.

A really well presented history of the Vikings. We were blown away by the amount of information onsite, and spent around 4 hours which probably scratched the surface considering the amount of material.
