Loved our visit here to see the Jelling stones and to visit the museum. The interactive museum was very good and provides good support in English for all no Danish speakers. The staff are knowledgeable and helpful and the displays themselves informative and fun.

Well worth the detour to spend the afternoon here. Thanks.

Beautiful museum, interactive, modern, I loved that you could look out at the site from the roof and see the different stages of human settlements there. The interactive story of the lineage kings in Denmark makes game of thrones look like a happy family.

Half an hour from all things Lego is this little cultural gem where you can learn all about Harald the Bluetooth and more. The centre is extremely hands-on so kids love it. Lovely cafe. Super friendly staff. Best of all entrance is completely free. Kids and adults thoroughly enjoyed it. Highly recommend.

The absolute highlight of Danish history. The founding of the kingdom and Vikings meeting christianity. New and modern (and free) museum, the old Church, the two burial mounds and the two Runic Stones. Don’t miss the explanation in the museum of the Royal family tree (pedigree) from Gorm the Old to Queen Margrethe - a story of power and struggle in a straight line.

This is the place to visit if you are in to vikings. Fantastic museum that shows how vikings lived, and with real gold treasures. Thre are also 2 giant stones outside the church filled with runes, one for the king that reigned at that time, and a smaller one for his queen.
