We stayed here for two nights, two couples and one single in three different suites - they were all amazing. The view from the rooms is unforgettable and inside them you have just about everything you need, including a fire place and a coffee machine. However, the 'secret weapon' at this place is Maria, the hotel manager. Her cooking is superb (don't leave without enjoying her dinner), her hospitality is warm and her walking tips are right on the mark. The village of Kipi offers a nice stroll and is surrounded by wonderful walking trails. Al in all a wonderful experience.

Room Tip: Go for the higher suites if possible.

Loved every bit of our trip to the Zagori region. I congratulate Alexandros, the owner on his amazing and stunning concept. The rooms are like little chalets, the design of each of them is different and exquisite. All the amenities are there to ensure the guests' comfort. Maria, who runs the place on a day to day basis welcomed us very warmly and made sure we settled in well. Her food is amazing and especially her breakfast. All the produce are sourced locally, if she is not making them in house. Yogurts, cakes, desserts, jams, pies and bread are all home made by the one and only Maria! They even grow their own tomatoes... Before our arrival, Alexandros had emailed us extensively about the area and possible hikes to take. Maria is also a fountain of knowledge and anecdotes about the region and was always there to answer our questions. It is clear a lot of hard work, dedication and love is going into Kipi Suites. Alexandros and Maria clearly value their guests and love what they do! We will definitely come back to experience the region during the winter months and to stay in luxurious, quiet and stunning surroundings (the beds are amazingly comfy) but also to sample more of Maria's succulent dishes and for her warmth, gentle nature and love of people. Chapeau to Alexandros the Great for having chosen an amazing part of Greece to build his Kipi Empire and many thanks and love to Maria for taking care of us and making us feel at home.

I had found Kipi Suites when I Googled 'Romantic Hotels in Greece' looking for a quiet and beautiful place to stay for a few days after our wedding and loved what I saw in pictures. The reality was even better. For us it was an almost perfect compromise between old and new. The buildings are in keeping with the traditional housing of the area but the interiors are ultra modern and luxurious. This meant that we could go out exploring the wonderful landscape during the day and truly look forward to coming "home" in the evening. It was especially enjoyable to be able to light a fire in the fireplace after dinner because the evenings were surprisingly cool to us because we live on an island where we had already been experiencing summer temperatures. We were also impressed by the human warmth and kindness of Maria and her daughter Popi, who were not only mines of information about the area but amazing cooks. My husband and I had some special requirements and preferences and they went out of their way to please us. We had some wonderful soups and pies of different kinds and were even given some pie to take with us on our homeward journey. Both of us tend to be rather too busy in our everyday lives but felt that this kind of environment enabled us to relax much more than usual. Our only complaint is that the time went too quickly. We certainly hope to return some time soon.

My wife and my 7 month old son decided for this 3 day escape to what it seemed to us an amazing different planet!! The resort is situated on a heaven in earth called kippi, zagoroxoria. Surrounded by amazing forests, Alexandros, the owner, one of these perfectionists, engineer himself, seems to have spent numerous hours on every detail of this luxurious resort and his personal, delicate signature is everywhere. Mrs Maria and her daughter Popi, apart from amazing cooks, they were extremely helpful, Popi even taught us how to use our baby s sling in order to take him with us for a nice walk in the forest. I highly recommend this place to all people that seek true professionalism, hospitality, quality , kindness and an escape from our miserable routine. However keep it a secret from loud barbarians that surround us and could easily spoil the beauty of another well hidden paradise on earth.

We have been as family during Christmas holiday at Kipi Suites together with another family with 2 adults and 2 kids. Our first impression for the hotel was astonished as the rooms and generally all the places were very well equipped with great style and elegance. However, we will not suggest this hotel for families as the children were treated as unwanted visitors or better as intruders. We would appreciate if we have been informed in advance for the rules of the hotel concerning children. All this inconvinience of following rules for behavior (not walking at the wooden floor because making noise, do not laugh loudly, do not sing the carols, do not go to the rest-lobby-fire place area and etc) causes us stressed times without having the possibility to relax and enjoy the comfort that we were expected. Nevertheless, the rules the most surprizing for all of us was the way that the supervisor of the hotel announce us these rules. One of our children asked us: "why this lady do not love children"?? Last but not least the price for Christmas dinner per adult was like we would book a table in Paris at "Plaza Athenee". But, for sure you have the choice to participate or not, so this is mentioned only as a fact and not as obligation.

Room Tip: Be careful of walking in the rooms. Wooden floors make noise to the ones leaving downstairs.

Dear customer,

Kipi Suites is a boutique guesthouse with just 8 suites in which we make every effort to please our guests, both through the carefully designed and maintained infrastructures (which we are happy to see you appreciated as well), as well as through our personalised high quality service (which we regret to know did not come up to your expectations).

Families and more specifically children are more than welcome at Kipi Suites and there are no special rules which apply, apart from children not having access to the hotel’s bar (we consider that children do not usually go to bars anyway). We do assume, however, that our guests will be discreet enough to avoid disturbing other guests. Having received complaints about your company (which included non-hotel guests too) making excessive noise, our personnel was obliged to intervene in an effort to ensure a pleasant ambiance for all. We very much regret if you found that the manner in which this may have been conveyed to you was not the appropriate one. This was certainly not our intention, as our staff constantly strives for offering all of our guests a relaxing and comfortable atmosphere.

For Xmas Eve dinner, Kipi Suites had prepared a 5-course menu for its guests using only the finest, local ingredients and served in the exclusive environment of our restaurant, at the price of 32 euros per person. We consider this to be an excellent price to value proposition, which, as you also mention, our guests are free to take advantage of, or not.

In any event we thank you very much for your inputs, which we take as constructive criticism to help us improve ourselves. We do hope to have the opportunity to welcome you and your family again in the future in order to make your next stay a very pleasant one.

Sincerely,

The management

Just a perfect boutique suites hotel with amazing view in Zagoria. The luxury design, the room decoration and the location contribute to an excellent experience! The friendly atmosphere and the really tasty homemade breakfast makes it special! I had the chance to participate to one of the "wine tasting events" that are organized in the hotel and it was a unique experience as we tasted excellent wines from all over the world, sitting next to the fireplace and outside it was snowing......!Amazing place and of course amazing people behind all this! I can't wait to be back....!

Comfortable room with beautiful view, quiet area, minimalist design, ideal temperature 24h, cleanliness, attention to detail of benefits promised.

Full & delicious homemade breakfast which is renewed every day, up-to-dated wine cellar.

The biggest advantage is the hospitality. The team is polite, discreet and available at any time to serve.

Ask Alexandros for excursion / trip advice - Ask Maria for homemade prepare dinner/lunch.

Perfect...Congratulations
