At €55 per person for room including dinner, so €110 for two, you get a nicely refurbished room with large bed, modern bathroom (with rain-head shower) and a fantastic view over the valley. the rooms are a bit noisy.
You also get a no-choice menu for dinner. It is thus a bit bland and aimed at pleasing the majority. Entree was tomato quarters with a bit of basil from a jar, main course a small slice of salmon in a sauce with a small square of flat aubergine gratin and a neat pile of grains. Dessert was a scoop of coffee ice-cream in an edible container and too much squirty cream. The local wine was good.
I'd actually give the hotel 3.5, between 'moyen' and 'très bien'. It was just good, nothing more. It was too cold to take advantage of the terrace which overlooks the view but would have been a nice place to have an aperitif.
