Having read so many favourable reviews of this tiny restaurant we decided to book a table for four on a Friday evening. Hazel gladly accommodated us at 7.30. Upon arrival we found the place empty and were a bit apprehensive, however we need not have worried as every 10-15 mins another table of guests would arrive, all being personally welcomed and taken care of by Hazel.
one of our party was vegetarian and like mentioned in other reviews this was no issue to the kitchen team in catering for their needs.
the food was some of the best any of us had ever had extremely well presented generous portions and really beautifully cooked.
the value for money was brilliant there were four of us for dinner we had 3 courses, wine and coffee for the princely sum of €127.00 it would cost that for 2 people in a restaurant of similar quality in Galway.
the only one thing that let the place down very slightly was the coffee made by the push of a button on a machine but not worth losing a star over something so small.
I hope this place goes from success to success.
