We stayed in Hill apartment. Our appartment was not so ok, as there was few things what have to repair soon. Biggest is bathroom floor. Its totally flat and higher point in shower was point where water goes away.
So after shower you had swimmingpool for your feet.

We asked twice from reception, if we can get "swiper" to dry floor.
They promised to check it and they knew the problem.
We waited 2 days and when I went ask again. Then I got answer that they dont have. Quite suprise as place is huge..Well after that we bought it from supermarket...

That water is made damage as paint is became like "bubble" otherside of wall where bathroom is.
Same problem seems to be in upper appartment because our bathroom roof had same "bubbles".

You had to keep bathroom ventilation hole time running, because otherwise smell in bathroom was quite stuffy because of waterdamage.
Last days that ventilationmachine made his last movements and total silenzio.
So we kept other toilet hoover running as it was in same airchannel as bathroom.

Bathroom had closet, where towel was. Door is fixed many times and now its fixed one more time, thanks for Leatherman multitool.

Airconditionmachine in bedroom is also quite end of his life. Sound of blower was not ok and blowing was not smooth.
It could help if they clean it, because filter was veryvery dirty...

Floors in our appartment was not clean. They washed it middle of our stay. Before that if you liked to walk with clean open foot or socks, no chance.
Well that could be our problem, because in our culture we dont walk inside with shoes etc.

These was problems in our appartment and I dont have experience for others.

Otherwise we dont have nothing bad to say. Place is safe, clean, stuff is friendly and Eddie makes good drinks in beachbar:)
I can go there again, but I will check my "room" much much better:)

Curacao is such a paradise to spend holidays ! This pretty island in the Caribbean is also famous for diving and it’s 35 beaches are really beautiful.
The Blue Bay resort really seduced us with its private beach with diving centre, restaurants, kids club and concerts on Friday night. The various swimming pools in the resort allow you not to get bored anytime. This hotel is ideally located to explore the island and its 35 beautiful beaches. You can easily go to the eastern part of the Island as well as to the Western wilder beaches.
Our 2 kids loved to play on the Blue Bay private beach and to watch the colourful fishes with their masks and fins. They also loved to play with the sand and crabs on the beach while we could read and relax, lying on our beach chairs, drinking smoothies.... The villas were very clean and cleaning was done every day.
It’s better to rent a car when you stay there if you want to move and be able to go shopping. There is a very practical and big supermarket a 10 mn drive away. You can have breakfast, lunch and dinner in the different restaurants right on the private beach of the Blue Bay which is very practical. You can go diving from this beach renting your gear at the Blue Bay diving center and leave your kids at the kids club : a must for parents !! You can also enjoy a massage right on the beach : very relaxing ! I don’t play gold but for gold addicts, it seams a great spot !
Finally, the staff was very kind to us and very helpful (then even helped us in booking some of our activities on the island).
I definately recommend this resort !

Room Tip: The villas in the Village are great because it's very quiet and close to the beach. You can go walking to the beach in a beautiful landscape. On the contrary, Bungalows in the garden are according to me too close to each other and far from the beach.

We stayed in the garden bungalows which are the newest. Rooms were clean and spacious. These are a bit of a drive from the beach, too far to walk. If you're visiting Curaçao you need to rent a car especially if you're staying at Blue Bay.
The beach has ample parking so never an issue. The beach also always has available chairs and semi-shady spots under Palm trees, if you want one of 4 umbrellas on the beach go before 8am. The sand is not the softest seen better beaches in the Caribbean but, the water is great for snorkelling or swimming with kids as it's pretty shallow. Just be sure to wear water shoes so you don't cut your feet on the rocks below.
The atmosphere at the resort is pretty laid back no one bothers you and if you need something they are accommodating. Other reviewers mentioned slow service I never felt that, just remember it is the Caribbean no one here is in a rush.
The food at the beach is so so, a little pricy and very little selection. However convenient if you're at the beach. All in all the resort is great but just remember it's huge so have car.

The waterfront villas is amazing, and the view is expectacular. The staff are very friendly....I always look forward to my ice coffee on the beach. Punda is great for shopping, mango&zara offers a great variety of europeam clothing and not to forgetu husbands sachel (aka man purse lol!). The mambo beach is also offers different flare.....infinituktl

Very calm, European (a lots of people from Netherlands), friendly, safe and clean resort. A little bit outdated, sometimes surprising (no electrical outlets in the bathroom :-( ), but still ideal for quiet vacation. A rental car is a must, because resort is not connected to the city. Closest supermarket (with everything and cheap) is about 1 mile away. Be aware of bugs. They call tchem Praga - small, but enoying. Be sure that you have insect repelent. The best beach on the Island - no doubt!

Room Tip: Rent a car! Don't forget sunscreen and insect repelent!
