“Good size apartments and quiet pool”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 12 October 2013

We are RCI members and exchanged to the Paradise Kings Club. Apparently you cannot exchange again at this resort for another 4 years, which seems a shame when the majority of the apartments were empty during the beginning of July!! The resort was definitely not busy for this time of year. We had a two-bedroom apartment in the second row up from the reception. We had great views from our apartment. You do need a car though to enjoy the area. The resort has two pools, one with a bar and music and the other without. We tended to use the pool at the top of the resort without the bar. It was heavenly some days, we had the pool and the sunbathing area to ourselves. The views from here were amaxing. There are some building work to finish on the resort, but we were told it is to do with the Government situation. However, there is building just down the road from the resort. We took advantage of the buffet breakfast deal which was really good value for money. We ate in the restaurant the first night for convenience. - the food was good and service impecable. The staff were very polite and helpful, but as I said before there didn't seem to be many people staying at the resort and therefore was lacking some atmosphere. Would love to go back to the Paradise Kings Club, but unfortunately we'll have to wait another 4 years before we are able to again.

Room Tip: The air conditioning was particulary noisy - some nights we had to turn it off because it kept us aw...

We have stayed here for one week . The hotel is three km from paphos harbour. Several restaurants souvenir shop are nearby . It takes a least ten minutes walking to the supermarket and t the beach. It's a little bit old fashioned. The only complain is the bed size. The swimming pools are really nice. The pub worked here every night and was a little noisy. The staff were really helpfully.

The Paradise Kings Club is situated a considerable distance from Paphos and the harbour and a car is a must! There is a fair amount of construction taking place just down the road which commences at 7:00am. The apartments are a good size, well furnished and we had a 2 bedroom 2 bathroom apartment for four of us (2 couples). The pool is pleasant and there is a bar. We did not use the restaurant ( except for some breakfasts) or Taverna as we ate out each night and had drinks in the apartment which we purchased from Lidl (about 1 mile away). The breakfasts were excellent value for money. Although we enjoyed our week's stay, we would rather have stayed nearer the town and harbour and would not go back here.

We called from the UK to advise we wouldn't be arriving until around midnight and was there a welcome pack fro water etc until we could get to the supermarket, unfortunately there wasn't but the lady we talked to (Anna) was very nice and just happened to be the same lady on shift when we arrived. Check in was done and she showed us to our apartment herself and explained the air con and told us where everything was and explained the buses to the supermarkets etc. as another reviewer commented there wasn't a porter and it is steep but that doesn't worry us. Anna informed me that the area we a were staying in had been modernised about 2 years ago and it showed, I've been to some excellent RCI resorts and although this one isn't perfect it is good and has all you would expect. We stayed in apartment 202 which overlooked the pool and had good views, a huge balcony being a 2 bedroom all across the whole front. downside was its location being a little way along the tomb of the kings road which is being turned into a dual carriageway so its a bit of a building site, also the area next to the resort is also being developed so there was a bit of noise from this. Not the resorts fault worth noting. The walk along the Kings road isn't that far about 20 to 30 minutes but the buses are cheap and regular, failing that most visitors hire a car and driving is easy in Cyprus right hand drive and on the left of the road. Being a little way out the resort has its plus side as its quite quiet, facilities are adequate rather than anything else but the pool is lovely and warm, its not deep either in any part. As other reviewers have stated the staff make it want it is and the all excellent. Cats are everywhere when the sun goes down so unless you want them at your door don't feed them. All in all a lovely resort that I would not hesitate to return too. My only gripe was 70 Euros for utilities I feel is too expensive, utilities is my RCI pet hate but I think 50 is more than enough for a week as in Madiera.

Room Tip: Try to get a room overlooking the pool, there are apartments on the hill behind the front apartments...

We arrived on a late flight at the hotel around midnight, tired and not knowing the layout of apartments etc. Usually RCI apartments have a porter for luggage. We were pointed towards our apartment and had to lug our cases up a hill which is about 40% steepness. Not good in heat!!
Our apartment had been shut up all day and was like a sauna. Not a good first night. The restaurant and general staff were off-hand and critical of the decisions (where is the old adage that the customer is always right) To get to the nearest bus stop was down a basically unmade road with building works to be negotiated. Not general RCI standard I am afraid!! Television was not good advertising flat screen TVs. These were in the bar areas, not the rooms. Not impressed.

Room Tip: Air conditioning is essential but noisy.

We have been members for 6 years now & we really are pleased with the apartment & site in general. Best of all though are the bar & restaurant team of George,Andreas,Victoria,Iliana & Nina. They are very professional and make the stay better every year. We make use of the breakfast deal for an all you can eat buffet, followed by the "full english", which is cooked to perfection. All this for around 3 Euros per person per day.
Although not completely finished the site is clean & tidy, but could be better if wi-fi could be made more available,as it is only in the Taverna & Reception areas currently.
We are already looking forward to next years holiday in Paradise. Can't wait !!!!

Had a fab 3 weeks here, for the third year running. Thanks to George, Andreas, Illiana, Victoria and the other staff who made our holiday great. Great food, pool and plenty of entertainment. Danny is a real treasure, especially at the bar-b-cue. Our room had not been revamped and was looking very tired but was still comfortable and clean. All staff work very hard to maintain the complex but a few areas need a bit extra work. ie the gardens.
